Trump is saying some things that simply have to have been said. He's telling the truth. However, the longer this goes on, one begins to wonder what the real motive is? A lot of this stuff should have been said a long time ago by other conservative politicians and none would do so. So, why now...and by THIS guy with no real record of being a conservative?
It is beginning to look like he is trying to divide the conservative electorate. The Democrats are all united behind evil causes and they stick together like glue. We could be under invasion by the Chinese and the leftist, Godless liberals will still be clinging to their illegal immigrants, anti-gun rants, burn-the-Bible as well as the flag rallies and gay lovers. They prefer to go down in flames without making any change in thinking.
However, the conservatives all begin to fight with each other about which candidate is really genuine and really standing for what is right when almost none have a real record of doing so except for Ted Cruz. With all of this hoopla about Donald Trump with the media complicit in shoving Cruz out of the spotlight to highlight this guy and how much he is stirring everyone up, Cruz gets little or no coverage on his excellent arguments about turning the country around. And, THAT, to me, appears to be the actual goal of Donald Trump. It is beginning to look like the powers behind the scenes knew Cruz was going to be a problem and might actually thwart their evil plans and so needed something, ANYTHING, that would take the attention away from him.
That maybe true, but popularity doesn't always mean voting for him...
Democrats typically vote against their best interests because the family has voted democrat since FDR...
Plus, I'm sure by the time we vote for POTUS the democrat would have found a way to turn Trump into the second coming of Jordan Belfort (Wolf of Wall Street)
How can people say that Trump is so stupid and that he’s being had by the Hildabeast... then decide that he’s come up with this genius master scheme... all in the same thread?
Which is it? Is he a stupid dupe or a master manipulator?
I agree. A year ago Cruz was the crazy bomb thrower. After Trumps escapades Cruz looks like the statesman he is.
:: I simply can’t imagine a successful real estate developer, casino operator and media star actually functioning as The President of the United States ::
Nor could Geo-III envision a (presumed) simple, yet titled, tobacco farmer from the American colony of Virginia - functioning as a military general and subsequently the executive leader of a few upstart locations within the VAST British empire.
Ummmm, yes I am equating the “Trump phenomena” with our first president on the basis that he (Trump) has pledged his personal fortune and honor in the furtherance of the USA.
Your thoughts?
I don't. I prefer Cruz. I also understand that, short of an Article V Convention, nothing within established parameters is going to get our Country back.
Cruz is a great legal mind, but that quality is not appreciated by enough ordinary Americans to provide a decisive edge.
Wake up. Trump dwarfed EVERYBODY in no time flat. Compared to that performance, a statistical blip isn't even a bad joke!
I agree with you—done with the GOP losers. Trump will ditch the mountain of ridiculous regulations (designed by narcissistic nut jobs who just want their way) that kill our lives. If he is elected, our economy will soar, taxes will plummet, our country will be safer. And...the dems will be relegated to chirping in the background, at least for a while. Some may not like Trump personally but I’m hearing the liberal millennials in my family praise him because “he’s speaking plain truth” meaning his message has resonated.
I like Cruz a lot but he’s not really “run” anything yet. He’d be overwhelmed and squished by the entrenched bureaucrats (Trump would just say “you’re fired”). But I think he’d be a great VP and then a great president, in that order.
Now that's interesting comment....but not sure I agree totally. I do agree Cruz is at the margins at the moment. However, Cruz steadfastly did not play by the "rules" with his filibuster, nor when he vocally supported Rand's filibuster. He constantly talks about the "Washington Cartel" - who makes these "rules" up.
So, to your point...no, he is not trying to out-Trump Trump at this point. That would be foolish to try. No one can out Trump Trump. But I think Cruz knows that this is not a sprint.....and as the Trump fervor dies down (which it will for one of three main reasons) - Cruz will be in the perfect position. Now, having said all that, I would like a little bit of a break out mentality now myself.
Give your trolling a Rest.
Its over the top BS.
Dem Operative i
Maybe I did....but I still think it’s accurate description. And the comment still works without the ultra anyway.
Sorry but I don’t go to Alex Jones unless it’s linked on Drudge.
Let me guess, you still believe Ross Perot actually wanted to be President.
“How can people say that Trump is so stupid and that hes being had by the Hildabeast... then decide that hes come up with this genius master scheme... all in the same thread?’
Learn how to read.
I never said Trump came up with it.
Trump and Cruz have to work together at the debate. Cruz not attacking Trump, (he will be the only one on that stage that hasn’t) will be the only able to to credible to do so.
Yes, if you keep it in context. I am talking about poll numbers at this stage of the campaign and the meaningless campaign issues use to attack the candidate. That's the context, stay within it.
Bedtime for Bonzo, grade B actor, divorced, former union leader - everyone totally ignored the fact that he was a two term very successful California governor.
I have been praying that God somehow remove the evil from this land, bring this country back to God. I’m sure hundreds of thousands of people have been praying the same.
Now, here is Donald Trump. Who knows but I’m not going to discount him and have been enjoying what I see. God sent a coward and a murderer to lead the Isrealites out of Eygpt. Perhaps we are too far gone and perhaps Trump is not at all what he seems but it’s worth watching and hoping.
On my first cup of coffee I see no hope for this country without Divine intervention.
Yours is a fair point insofar as I've outlined very little "nuance" to my statements.
In point of fact, Cruz's efforts have lacked the "magnitude" to defeat the PTB's ability to compensate for random anomalies.
I do not fault Senator Cruz for that failure, but I do recognize it.
Trump has shown the ability to defeat the Cartel using its own best defense.
Does that make Trump fit to be President? Doubtful. But anyone who can not do so will never get the chance to try.
“It is beginning to look like he is trying to divide the conservative electorate. “
Divide the conservative electorate?? Really? For crying out loud, the RINO’s did that a looooooooong time ago!
Why do you think the conservative base stayed home when it came time to vote for McCain and Romney? It’s because of the RINO shift from conservatism to the Uniparty.
No one represents conservartive interests anymore, Trump does. He’s not dividing, he’s uniting. With any luck he’ll win and run off the nasty RINO’s with a very welcome “YOUR FIRED!”.
Please explain to me how every Democrat demographic since 1964 has been "voting against their best interests"?
If Trump is at 24% WITHOUT spending a penny on advertising ,where will he be when he does?!
Trump is letting the MSM do his advertising free which is how it should be for all candidates. That is, they report on what he says-although they do try to twist his words.
