- Pope ends first leg of his three-nation South American tour with impassioned plea to safeguard the environment
- Delivered message in Ecuador, which has one of the world's most diverse ecosystems but is also reliant on oil
- He said: 'As stewards of these riches, we have an obligation toward society and toward future generations'
(...)
'As stewards of these riches which we have received, we have an obligation toward society as a whole and toward future generations,' Francis said.
'We cannot bequeath this heritage to them without proper care for the environment, without a sense of gratuitousness born of our contemplation of the created world.'
His call was particularly relevant for Ecuador, a Pacific nation that is home to one of the world's most species-diverse ecosystems but which is also an OPEC country heavily dependent on oil extraction.
'The goods of the Earth are meant for everyone, and however much someone may parade his property, it has a social mortgage,' Francis said.

How about your ‘share’ the goods the Vatican owns first?

17 As Jesus was starting out on his way to Jerusalem, a man came running up to him, knelt down, and asked, Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?
18 Why do you call me good? Jesus asked. Only God is truly good. 19 But to answer your question, you know the commandments: You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. You must not cheat anyone. Honor your father and mother.[a]
20 Teacher, the man replied, Ive obeyed all these commandments since I was young.
21 Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. There is still one thing you havent done, he told him. Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.
22 At this the mans face fell, and he went away sad, for he had many possessions.

As a practicing Roman Catholic I feel I need to remind everyone that this institution has had all kinds of bad popes and when they forget the admonition My Kingdom Is Not Of This World” .This church gets into all sorts of trouble. But survives.
These meandering homilys of This pope on temporal matters diffuse any theologic message Pope Francis offers. Snowballs should be thrown at those pointy hat supporters of his as well as opposition clearly expressed to those meanderings on any visit Francis may make here.

"The Marxist takeover of the Vatican is the biggest story of our lifetimes. Because of the position and power of the pope, this shocking development will determine the fate of our world. Catholics and non-Catholics alike must take a vital interest in this story. My latest article discusses a new study on high-level Vatican contacts with the world communist movement:
Catholic Group Exposes Red Influence in the Vatican. ..."

The Knights of St. Francis has taken ads on the conservative radio shows on WMAL radio in Washungton DC. I've heard that stupid commercial so much in the past couple of days that I am tempted to turn off WMAL until the ad buy is finished (days? weeks? months?)

Incredible times we’re living in. A communist pope. A communist president. And, here in New York City, a communist mayor. Yet most would laugh at us when we tried to warn them what was coming!

I see nothing wrong with going back to horse and buggy, outhouses, blood-letting, and candles.
It’s the best thing we can do for the poor socialists and mother earth, after all.

Can Popes be impeached? No. Because the Catholic Church declared that popes are infallible.
The pope is a Marxist
The pope is infallible.
Therefore Marxism is infallible.
Got it?

It’s the same demonizing of opposing views that ELF, AL Gore, et al use, maybe a bit mire subtle, but not much.
