Sen. Ted Cruz continues to defend Donald Trump on immigration.
Cruz (R-Tex.), in an interview with "Meet the Press" praised Trump for talking about immigration. Trump has made inflammatory comments about Mexican immigrants, leading Macy's and Univision to sever ties with Trump.
Cruz, speaking during his book tour in Marietta, GA., said he likes Trump, whom Cruz said is "bold" and "brash." Cruz said he's not going to attack Trump.

Good for T. Cruz!
I noticed the press has taken liberties misquoting Trump and wrongly implying . As usual, lying is expected from the U.S. Tass and Pravda mouthpieces.
No WaPo.
Trump made APROPRIATE comments about SOME Mexican ILLEGAL ALIENS.
Yuck, Washington Compost! I’d rather be censured, than written about in this rag.
To the press, telling a truth is inflammatory. This justifies lying.
This is what I have been wondering from the beginning. If Ted and Donald are working together. Perhaps this is a way to fight back against the Rhino Establishment.
Maybe Cruz’s supporters on this site will follow suit. A few of them can get nasty really quick.
If they aren’t, they need to team up. They both have the same initiatives and policies and seem to respect one another. I think their styles, while different, compliment each other.
” leading Macy’s and Univision to sever ties with Trump”,
and leading Trump to easily replace Univision and Macy’s.
Well, there are now two ( 2 ) Republicans I could vote for. Waiting for others.
Still waiting.
Yeah Cruz and Trump like each other.
Is it accurate for the Post to characterize Trump’s comments as “inflammatory” just because a bunch of leftists are frothing at the mouth over them? The leftwing media likes to frame the issue in this way so that the burden of justification is placed on Trump to justify his comments, rather than on they and their fellow elitists for being against something which most Americans agree with, and is so reasonable.
Trump’s comments were inflammatory in the same way that you or I wearing a cross around our neck would be inflammatory to a Muslim.
MSM never liked Cruz regardless.
BFD
“Cruz said he’s not going to attack Trump.”
That doesn’t sound like the ramped up title, “Ted Cruz continues to defend Donald Trump on immigration”.
That's why my tagline read "Is Cruz himself as mean spirited as the Cruz Contingent here on FR?".
I kept it on for about a month.
I say there, Ted Cruz knows how to defend truth where he finds it, and is unafraid of whomever brings it. That is the stuff of aspiration and we should all aspire to enlarge ourselves to embrace it, just as the example before us, that Ted sets.
Nicely played, Senator Cruz. Nicely played.
I think they are pulling a “rope-a-dope”.
Trump is the right hand that draws all the attention, and Cruz is the left that’s gonna knock the media on their collective a$$.
We the fans/voters cheer!
Watch out! The Cruz hens are watching.
