I wrote to Mr. McGovern expressing my deep disappointment that he and his fellows chose to boycott the address by Netanyahu to Congress. This is the boilerplate doofusgram reply I received in which he indicates he did not even read my letter.
===================================================
If only life were really like this:
“I did not attend Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech to the joint session of Congress because I’m a flaming leftist who hates Israel and America. Oh, and like the current occupant of the White House, I’m an ignorant, arrogant @-hole.
“Sincerely...”
I think this was their walkout supporter boilerplate email.
I once wrote to Dan Quayle’s office when he was Veep to thank him for appearing and speaking against abortion at the 1992 Rally For Life.
The reply e-mail I got was totally nonsensical and did not mention the rally or his attendance at all. It was as if some clerk saw “abortion” and printed out the first email template she could find on it. Hugely disappointing.
Well, he couldn’t very well write the truth: “Our lord and master Barack told us very clearly not to go see the Prime Kike of Zionist Occupied Palestine.” Might reflect badly on the party, you know.
Ask him next time if his uncle was handing soap to the jews on their way into the shower.
I once wrote to John Engler and was pleased to receive a letter he clearly dictated in response to my specific questions and hand signed it.
My daughters often ask me questions about why liberals want certain things. It has turned into a game in which daddy usually has no rational answer - as if they can "stump" daddy. While they haven't played "the game" on this issue, I am stumped. I really have no idea how anyone can think there is a place for diplomatic negotiations with a state sponsor of terrorism. Even if there is a deal struck, the likelihood that Iran would stick to its side of the bargain is slim to none. Even if there is verification in place of trust, it is not likely.
Perhaps there is a misunderstanding or an ignorance shared by liberals that when there is a deal that the United States doesn't have to give anything up. I see zero need for the United States to sacrifice anything in a deal with Iran. This in itself means that there shouldn't be negotiations.
Iran needs to unilaterally change if it wants to be part of the civilized world. Until then it should be completely cut off. And when Iran is aggressive, such as building a nuclear weapons program, it should be bombed into submission, or at least to the point that it has no ability to have a program. Note: these are carefully chosen words, "no ability to have a program" is quite different than destroying nuclear facilities.
Let me boil his response down to just one sentence:
Dear Mr. pabianice
I don’t give a damn about you, your Constitution, your support of Israel or anything else, I support the current communist regime, I have noted your displeasure, made file and you can be sure at some point in the near future all who oppose us will be severely dealt with.
Comrade McCommie!
I wrote to Toomey about an issue I had with him about voting with Dems nd told I would campaign against him. Three-four days later I got summoned to Federal Court in Philly.
Telling the simple truth is just NOT an option for the party who boos God and hates Jews.
I’d be more concerned if he voted to enable and fund Obama’s invasion of the US.
All the Boycotters are just Ignorant Fools
