Am I the only person watching this "football game" (which is actually a good football game) annoyed by these annoying lectures, masquerading as commercials, about how powerful, capable, independent and valuable women are, so we barbaric men shouldn't devalue them, disrespect them (not actually a word) or hit them? Is this really what we need to be told while we're trying to just watch a ball game? I know the rest of the culture insists on this, but aren't men the primary clientele of the NFL? Why does the NFL have to subject us to this nonsense?
It’s a good thing that the game is decent because those who tuned in to watch the commercial have gotten it stuck to them. With the exception of the Budweiser “puppy” commercial, every commercial shown so far really super sucks. What’s up with the goofier than sh*t car commercials? Makes me want to go out and buy a bike.
I find it to be vile.
I liked the Brady Bunch commercial.

The commericals, the commentators, the half time, the game - the whole show annoys me.

I agree. Let the womenfolk tend for themselves. They don’t need an idiot man to guide them around.
It is an insult if someone says that to you and you’re a guy.
I’ve got a feeling Budweiser is going to catch hell for having their All American Clydesdales threaten to kick the **** out of one of the ‘RATS’ commie lib “lone wolves”. LOL!

The PC powers have ruined everything about the SB except the game itself.
I’m the father of boys and girls. One son is in engineering school. His school is about 90% male but nearly every piece of literature from every college he looked at featured an over-preponderance of females.
We also work with FIRST Robotics. Same story there.
This lunacy makes my wife violently angry. She thinks it’s forcing girls into areas and careers where they may have little interest.
We have a friend who wanted to go to art school but is an engineer instead. She hated it and is a full time mom.
The NFL made a deal to atone for the beat downs given to
women by some of their employees. However, if the woman
is conservative then all bets are off.
I am not annoyed by them. I don’t watch TV. TV used to annoy me. I got rid of the damned thing 25 years ago.
If you’re a guy and throw like a girl, it is intended as an insult.
We live in a politically correct world now. Anybody who says anything will be accused of sexism.
Anybody who.takes exception to Katy Perry singing her homosexual song about how she kissed a girl and liked it, at the halftime show, will similarly be dismissed as homophobic. Just the way it is nowadays.
