It struck as odd and inappropriate to use children to sell tampons and maxipads while at the same time promoting grrl power and marginalizing men.

I noted that of those in the room with me, the ones who hooted and howled and approved the most were the angry leftist females who have a chip on their shoulder and see the world through the lens of gender conflict.

I quickly saw the subtext and was sorta grossed out by it. It was anti-family and thus ultimately anti-civilization.
