I thought only cats had nine lives. In one day this pup survived a car crash, a forced swimming lesson and didn’t get shot by the cop who showed up afterwards!

The dog just jumped into the car and hit the gear shift
What year car? Brake pedal has to be depressed in newer cars in order to engage the transmission.
I suppose the dog did that too ... right after he ate the homework.

Must have been an old vehicle. I thought the brake transmission interlock has been in them for many years. Either that or the dog was simultaneously pressing the brake when it hit the shifter.

I understand, now.
She wasn't wearing her seatbelt!
