Remember that video of the plane crash in Hawaii after which Hawaii Health Director Loretta Fuddy "died"?
You need to take a closer look.
Not “just in case” if the plane was deliberately set down in the assigned spot. The pilot was also, I believe, a glider pilot and could be relied on to accomplish this water set-down relatively safely.
Fuddy was named as a defendant in a law suit.
Now she can’t be compelled to testify.

I've done a search for shoe soles, mermaid logos, scuba tanks and rebreathers and have found nothing that matches. Logo looks like a mermaid to me but ymmv.
Also did an image search on Hawaii Coast Guard with no matches either.
Sure looks like a scuba diver but wow. I’m sure there are dozens of simpler ways to off someone and make it look like an accident.

The pants tucked into socks makes sense. I did a search for socks with mermaids on them and didn’t find a match but who knows.

The door remains open. However, I do believe she was buried. She did die. If it was to be to anyone's advantage to have her totally disappear and still living, I can certainly think of easier ways...
Meanwhile, looking for what that yellow object could be, look at this Korean woman abalone diver:

The object/s claimed to be a “diver” is actually one of the survivors stretched out along the surface of the water on their back in a PFD (Personal Flotation Device). It certainly is not a diver.
The distance between the three lifejackest visible in image 7 and image 16 in which the third jacket doesn't appear, indicates that it's impossible for that dark object to be part of the body of a third person. No one has a body that long...not human, anyway.

At first it looked spooky but at closer inspection it appears that Fuddy is on her back and facing the camera; her face is partially hidden by the “May West.” She appears, possibly, to be “bicycling” her legs. That’s why her knees (the frogman) are “coming up” and occasionally her yellow tennis shoes appear also.
That’s what I see. Can anybody verify what kind of shoes she may have been wearing that day?
