I think if you vore for Ted, it automatically get rung up for Christie! That's what I'm thinking. Kind of like the 2012 Ohio/Prez election...a vote for Romney flipped to 0.

Freeped and bumped for Sen. Cruz.
Freepers, this is a MUST poll. Take a half-minute and cast your vote.
Consider this a FREEP. This is what we're here for, ACTION, right?
I just voted, now go and do thou likewise!

I guess I’ll never understand the magic formula that makes one politician and idol while another doing the same gets a shrug. We actually went a lot further with RTW in Michigan but that most definitely doesn’t make Rick Snyder a conservative.

These polls need to have participants indicate how they would prioritize their votes for the candidates. Then patriots would be able to sift out the preferred candidate from the candidates getting the plurality of votes. This would hopefully avoid a split vote in the long run.
Another thing that the polls need to ask voters is if they are aware of the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers.

I would rather Walker. He is a governor who more than prove that he can take on negatives and put it into a positive. He was recalled and survived. He is so outstanding. Cruz is a great talker but we need results and Cruz has done nothing.

Why should the poll concern itself with who the front runner is at this time? The key question is who would you vote for? That’s what undeclared candidates want to know anyway.
To: dynachrome
The political/regulator class hit that poll hard. Walker is too far down. The default process will continue.

I would rather Walker. Yes Walker because he has an impressive track record in dealing with entitlement mentality groups.

Paul Ryan?
Who d’at?
I done t’ought he was a Tea Party kinda guy. Now, I dunno, but he ain’t doin’ Tea Party t’ings duh way d’ey s’posed tuh be done!
To: dynachrome
What if these early polls are just one of the many ways that the Dem’s/GOPe’s figure out which conservative to trash early — That we are happily pointing out who Christie’s leading conservative competitor is going to be?
Pardon my paranoia, but I’m a bit distrustful of political parties and news outlets of any sort, especially after the last two elections. I wish conservatives would avoid these political polls like the plague, and keep em’ guessing.
To: dynachrome
Walker's the only one with a real record of cutting the big government funding of the worst of the debt suckers. A real record talks. Insulting bandwagons of rhetoric will take a walk.

A bit early, but here we go.
It will not matter here on FR as many will not vote for anyone who does not fit their prom-king type of candidate. Perry was not good enough, nor was Cain, Newt, Bachmann, Palin (sadly, did not run), Santorum, Giuliani, and anyone else who was not Obama...'cause apparently that is the only one who was good enough for them and who they voted for by not voting at all.
Now FR is a great source of conservative thought, (the best around) but the 2012 elections were very frustrating and there was a huge base of support for NO ONE. Except maybe some mythical presidential candidate that met their prom king requirements. 'Cause none of those who did run were good enough for them.
In fact, any of the 2012 candidates would have been better than Obama by a long shot. Now we will never know. Yet now in all likely hood Obama will get his 2 to 3 appointments to SCOTUS and that was all the left really wanted out of the last election. 4 million conservatives who did not vote sealed that deal for the left even better than they had hopes for.
And I don't need to tell anyone that we have lived with the LEAST business friendly president we have had since FDR and a Healthcare bill that is likely now to also NEVER go away either. We have NO keystone pipeline, and have lived with $3.25/gallon gas and the number of drilling permits are the lowest since 2007.
Yep, we are so much better off now than if any of the conservative candidates would have won the election. But we will never know now... and not for generations. because what we and the next conservative president (if ever) are left with is an out of control republic that was worse than the founders ever thought it would be.
Folks, this is going to take generations to unwind. Walker in Wisconsin at least gives us some hope we can do it within 2 or 3 back to back conservative presidents. SCOTUS though will take generations after Obama leaves to change back to what the founders envisioned.
