If youre thinking about buying your wife an AR-15 for Christmas this year but cant decide on which one, SIG Sauers new SIGM400 Muddy Girl may be the tactile rifle for her.
It comes in pink camouflage.
Pink firearms, bra gun holsters, concealed carry designer handbags, and femininized TASERs are just some of the ways firearms and self-defense businesses are marketing to a fast-growing consumer segment: women.

Cool dual purpose weapons. You can take out a bad guy while reminding him/her of “breast cancer awareness” at the same time.
not pink enough...
That’s what I’m thinkin’.
They have ‘coatings’ now that you can put on any gun. You can change the color completely or do a number of prints. Have a friend who is a dealer and he kind of specializes in customizing them this way. A friend ordered a pink Glock from him.
“Nothing is required when transfering a long gun.”
That may change Jan 1 2014.
Long gun sales at stores will be “registered” like handguns are now.
In just short of 25 years of marriage, one of the best things I’ ve done was buying my wife a Ruger MkII target pistol. She, as with several women I’ve known, turned into a fine shot and going to the range became on of our fun things to do together.
My wife loves to shoot my AR. I may have to buy her one to get mine back.
Tactile rifles are for girls who wear “Barettas” (mentioned in post #4) in their hair.
Yes, Jan 1st, all CA long guns (excluding most curios?) will have to be registered just like handguns.
I am very familiar with that issue.
SIG Sauer is Swiss in name (ownership) only. There's SIG Sauer GmbH in a small town in northern Germany on the Baltic sea, and SIG Sauer Inc. in Virginia. The emphasis in the name is on Sauer.
The reason is the strict limitation of arms manufacturing in Switzerland:
Swiss law limits the ability of Swiss companies to manufacture firearms and Swiss companies who wish to do this have to do so by using a foreign partner. In the case of SIG they chose the German firm of Sauer & Sohn. (wikipedia)
I am a woman who used to like pink. Now, ever since the color was co-opted by the Susan Kolman (sp?) moneymakers, I refuse to buy anything in pink.
Hi Marcella....thought you’d like to see the pretty pink gun!
My daughters have complained about not having alternative colors instead of just pink when it comes to so many of these products.
BTW, pale pink is an excellent camo color at a distance. I painted a steel target disc like that once and could hardly see the thing. I believe that the US Navy and Royal Navy experimented with pink coloring on ships during the World Wars but didn’t follow up because it wasn’t macho enough.
Could also add that desert sand dunes look kind of tan- pinkish to me.
Good pun.
I also have a PINK pepper spray handgun (looks like a handgun) with a working laser that shoots a pepper foam for many feet. The foam sticks so the zombie can't get it off by wiping.
The handgun holster on the bra is a good idea. I just looked at those and my Ruger 38 with laser is on the list that will fit into those holsters. If a lady was in a dangerous situation with a male zombie, the male would stop and watch if the lady put her hand into her blouse/shirt at the bra level - any male would stop what he was doing to see that. That would be his big mistake.
CALL THAT “DEATH BY BRA”.

CA long guns “registered” at time of sale (dealer or private party (through dealer)). Don’t think this is retroactive.
They think pink guns are new?
