Today, Team Obama isnt getting any support from its normally active cheering section at CNN. Bob Laszewski, an executive who provides consulting services to many major American insurance companies, told CNNs Anderson Cooper:
The White House is exerting massive pressure on the industry, including the trade associations, to keep quiet.
Heres whats Bob is talking about:
Insurers who expose Obamacares most sinister effects are told they cant become authorized Obamacare insurance providers that means theyd be denied access to the largest market in the country just for telling the truth about how many people are being forced off their current plans by Obamacare regulations!

This is eerily (well, it is Halloween!) reminiscent of the way banks were threatened with losing their charters if they didn’t relax their standards and provide loans to people who were huge credit risks, in order to bring the American Dream of owning a home to disadvantaged minorities. We know how well that worked out.
I would put that particular data in a memo on a computer that is not well protected. Then direct someone the hack the computer, steal the memo and make it go viral. Then publish it in the news. The insurance company said nothing. Some hacker broke in and stole the memo!
It’s starting to get ugly. I won’t be surprised if we start seeing dead bodies littering Marcy Park.
Maybe the MSM is beginning to realize they’ve created a monster and now need to de-fang him......Nah, who am I kidding.
How unexpected - a random act of journalism from one of the LSM. LOL
That’s a good idea. LOL
I wonder what is up with Anderson Cooper? He’s has actually done this a couple of times now. I won’t bank on it becoming a habit but it is nice to have some actual truth and reporting. I am so disgusted with the constant stream of propaganda.
I could be totally wrong about this, but I’m starting to think that the whole Obamacare fiasco, from the 5 years of lying to the crappy roll-out to the increased rates and the loss of options might actually have some real effect on the makeup of both houses in 2014, and of the big prize in 2016.
The disinterested, low-information voters who make up the bulk of Obama supporters may finally wake up. The other scandals—Fast & Furious, Benghazi, NSA snooping, IRS targeting of conservatives were, for the most part, of little import to the above group. Indeed, the targeting of conservatives surely brought them much joy, if they paid attention. But the Obamacare mess is different. Beyond the fact that their beloved leader looked them in the eye and lied to them every day for five years might raise a few eyebrows. But, it’s what he lied about that can and should get some real attention.
Obamacare is not some esoteric scandal that has no effect on their everyday lives. It is a real pocketbook issue. These people understand and they feel the pain when their insurance rates double, their choice of doctors is limited, and their co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles are raised. This is not an ivory tower theory that some eggheads or pseudo-eggheads blather about on MSNBC. This has the same effect as when gas goes up to $4.50 a gallon. Many, many democrats are finding out that they will have fewer dollars left at the end of the month to pay for what they need and what they want because Obama has set up this intricate, unwieldy system. And they might actually vote (many for the first time) for someone who vows to repeal it, i.e., a republican.
Yes, I am well aware that there is a large nucleus of Kool-Aid drinkers who will vote democrat even if Obama rounds up their first-borns for execution. But there are some that might finally see the light. Possibly.
I don’t understand why they don’t just open up on Obamacare as they all know the ACA is just a step towards single payer, and they will be out regardless.
Obama, and the Democrats are using them only as a means to distract the citizenry during transition to single payer.
On rare occasions the New York Times will publish something conservatives actually agree about. There was one posted here some years ago and everyone got excited but of course it was a drop in the ocean of the usual leftist drivel. Never be fooled by these articles or in this case CNN pieces. They are still what they have always been. Hives of scum and villainy.
Maybe (as they watch their access to medical care recede in the rear view mirror) it is occurring to some of the girbilists that at some point useful idiots become disposable idiots.
It was intended as a step towards single payer.
Botched badly enough however, it becomes a disastrous setback that discredits even a hint of government involvement and sets back any chances for single payer by several decades.
Speak out!!!
they will find out their political officers will keep them in line.
