Apparently being famous is more important than being a reputable person for some of these young (and some older) performers. They will do anything for attention, even demean themselves on national TV. It is very sad, but she is young and maybe one day she will live up to her potential.
An even bigger obscenity on that show was when Kanye West was compared to Jimi Henrdix. Like comparing Al Sharpton to MLK.

Part of me thinks this was just her making fun of Hollywierd and hip-hop by acting more outrageous on their terms than they do.
Beyond the obvious revolting parts of the act, it sucked. That tongue thing? The stuffed animals? She looked and acted high. She wasn’t really even dancing.
I was mortified and embarrassed both for her and by her.

After watching her performance again without the sound I’m thinking it was a gross satire state of the currant pop culture especial the corporate controlled music section.
