Billy Ray Cyrus is on the advisory board of the Parents Television Council, which slammed his daughter Miley Cyrus for her ultra-sexy performance on the Video Music Awards on MTV Sunday night.
Ironically, the Parents Television Council says its mission is to "protect children from graphic and gratuitous programming and to restore responsibility to the entertainment industry," notes the Daily Mail.
Former BET network executive Paul Porter, who is part of the Parents Television Council, stated: "The Miley Cyrus/Robin Thicke performance simply substituted talent with sex."
Dan Isett, public policy director for the Parents Television Council, said: "MTV continues to sexually exploit young women by promoting acts that incorporate "twerking" in a nude-colored bikini. How is this image of former child star Miley Cyrus appropriate for 14-year-olds?"
However, Billy Ray Cyrus told Entertainment Tonight: "She's still my little girl and I'm still her Dad regardless how this circus we call show business plays out. I love her unconditionally and that will never change. Of course I'll always be here for Miley. Can't wait see her when she gets home."
During a 2007 interview with Glenn Beck, Cyrus said Miley "has good head on her shoulders."

I bet he can't wait. If she were my daughter -
Poor Billy Ray. What else can he say? "Yeah my daughter's a slut - but I love her"?

Hey Billy Ray, she’s just daddy’s little skank. How sweet.

Billy Ray set her up with a “tasteful nude photo shoot” when she was 15. He is not an innocent bystander in this.

Is she still a minor? Does he manage her career? I don’t know those details.
She’s obviously a cash cow for him, if so!

Apparently being famous is more important than being a reputable person for some of these young (and some older) performers. They will do anything for attention, even demean themselves on national TV. It is very sad, but she is young and maybe one day she will live up to her potential.

An even bigger obscenity on that show was when Kanye West was compared to Jimi Henrdix. Like comparing Al Sharpton to MLK.

“Ultra-sexy?”
See, that’s the thing we’ve lost, and I see it even in my thirties. “Sexy” is the suggestion of sex: Gilda’s glove, Frank’s lyric “it was a very good year for blue blooded girls who lived up the stair / with their perfumed hair / and it came undone / when I was 21...” Sexy is clear eyes on a natural woman, a slight, knowing smile, the whiff of lovemaking in the cut of a dress, a gesture -
Sexy is NOT a rubber-coated piglet with it’s tongue out, gyrating like a frantic victim of some neuro-muscular disorder.

I have seen sexy and that performance wan’t even close to the definition of sexy. Skanky? Absolutely.

Part of me thinks this was just her making fun of Hollywierd and hip-hop by acting more outrageous on their terms than they do.

Beyond the obvious revolting parts of the act, it sucked. That tongue thing? The stuffed animals? She looked and acted high. She wasn’t really even dancing.
I was mortified and embarrassed both for her and by her.

I see a reality show in the making:
it will be called “Achy Breaky Heart: Being Miley’s Dad”
it will be followed by the new Bobby Deen cooking show:
“Not My Mama’s Son”.

Is she Moe Howard's great-granddaughter? Funny she doesn't look Jewish.

After watching her performance again without the sound I’m thinking it was a gross satire state of the currant pop culture especial the corporate controlled music section.
