Full Title: Really Spooky Poem Praising Common Core Allegedly Recited by Dozens of 5th Graders at School Ceremony Read It Here
A substitute teacher in North Carolina recently sent Glenn Beck a copy of a poem that she claims roughly 80 fifth-grade students recited for their promotion ceremony (like graduation) at a school near Raleigh. Glenn Beck Reads 5th Grade We Learn More With Common Core Poem

The poem does not, as some might expect, celebrate school being done for the year, friendship, memories, or anything of the like. Instead, it praises the virtues of the controversial "Common Core" education initiative.
The poem is titled "We Learned More With Common Core," and the phrase is repeated over and over.
It reads:
Text genre, features & theme to explore
We learned more with common core.
Fractions, decimals, journal prompts galore
We learned more with common core.
RUNNER & CUBES are strategies for
Learning more with common core.
Vocab words like (clouds, organs, force), & omnivore
We learned more with common core
Economy, government, Revolutionary war
We learned more with common core.
So many new concepts to explore
We learned more with common core.
"That doesn't sound like you're indoctrinating kids at all!" Beck's co-host Pat Gray said sarcastically on radio Friday. "Like it's Soviet Russia? No, not at all!"
The teacher who sent the poem to Beck said she was alarmed by what she saw, and asked him to alert his audience about what is going on in our schools.

Imhotep...
...Imhotep...
So much more they could do with this poem.
Let’s get our rave on
while singing the praises of Trayvon
I’m going home to tell my mama
How lucky we are to have obama
I really hope that one day
I’ll be able to say I’m gay
And I’m just getting started!
This entire curriculum is a bore
With the things I learned with common core.
LOL / Thanks for the laugh.
Ah the collectivity! More important than anything in life!
The purpose of the chanting is to indoctrinate the kids with the thought that “common core is good” and to pass that thought on to their parents.
You may as well bring back Ebonics.
I have a bigger problem with that piece:
It’s just not a very good poem to begin with. I keep expecting to hear a line about the infamous Man from Nantucket. :P
Creepy Obama Kids Music Video

Nantuckett?!
From the Show Me state:
There was a young stud from Missouri
Who made love with astonishing fury,
..’til taken to court
..For his vigorous sport,
And condemned by a poorly hung jury.
As far as I’m concerned, Bill Bennett is only allowed to publish and exist because he is part of the Hegelian Dialectic and works for the Leftists as he pretends to be for the Constitution/Christian Ethics. He sold his soul years ago. He is equivalent to Huge Hewitt. Wishy Washy apologists.
Common Core is pure Marxism and evil.
For some reason, the video didn’t appear on the yahoo page.
You can also see this on this link.
You really need to HEAR Beck and Stu perform this. It is worse than the Obama kids mentioned in post 11, because it is giving glory (worship, Kudos) to the curriculum, not a person, such as Obama.
Were 5th graders forced to recite We learn more with common core! poem?

my teacher taught me to be a whore
with the sex lesson found in common core
I read it in my Weekly Reader
That Barack Obama is Our Dear Leader.
If my parents are dissing Him,
It is my duty to turn them in.
My self-esteem grows more and more
Just by learning Common Core.
We chant lots of Marxist lore
That we learned from Common Core
I wonder if that was an actual copy of the poem the fifth graders were handed by their teachers with the improper use of the “&” sign. It should be “and”.
Barack Hussein Obama. Mmmmmm. Mmmmmm. Mmmmmm.
