Imhotep...
...Imhotep...
So much more they could do with this poem.
Let’s get our rave on
while singing the praises of Trayvon
I’m going home to tell my mama
How lucky we are to have obama
I really hope that one day
I’ll be able to say I’m gay
And I’m just getting started!
This entire curriculum is a bore
With the things I learned with common core.
Ah the collectivity! More important than anything in life!
The purpose of the chanting is to indoctrinate the kids with the thought that “common core is good” and to pass that thought on to their parents.
You may as well bring back Ebonics.
I have a bigger problem with that piece:
It’s just not a very good poem to begin with. I keep expecting to hear a line about the infamous Man from Nantucket. :P
Creepy Obama Kids Music Video

For some reason, the video didn’t appear on the yahoo page.
You can also see this on this link.
You really need to HEAR Beck and Stu perform this. It is worse than the Obama kids mentioned in post 11, because it is giving glory (worship, Kudos) to the curriculum, not a person, such as Obama.
Were 5th graders forced to recite We learn more with common core! poem?

We chant lots of Marxist lore
That we learned from Common Core
I wonder if that was an actual copy of the poem the fifth graders were handed by their teachers with the improper use of the “&” sign. It should be “and”.
Barack Hussein Obama. Mmmmmm. Mmmmmm. Mmmmmm.
I don’t want to think much more
Except what I learned in common core.
Why did government make it for?
To teach me only a common core.
I don’t want the half of it.
School so dull it makes me spit.
If I can rap, I’m on top of it.
Bein’ brainy just don’t fit!
Don’t want to stand out one bit,
The whole thing’s a pile of sh**.
Less is, less is, less is more.
Don’t push my brain past common core.
If you think this is creepy, wait until they unleash the “big data base” on all kids that tracks them from the get go and ultimately can be shared from district to district. state to state and with who knows who. Michelle Malkin wrote about it. Parents don’t have a clue.
