I was going through some old files on my hard drive, when I discovered a series of threads I preserved from the 1999-2000 timeframe. I started reading through them and I was amazed at the number of people who had been on here, who I lost track of, or no longer see on the forum. I know, some of them are dead, some of them banned, some of them moved on... some of them even changed name! But I would love if any or all of you checked in, informing me of your status. I'm especially interested in hearing from the dead ones, I am very curious about the afterlife.

Yup, that’s me.
I changed my handle several years ago. I used to be “Don’t wanna be audited”. Long story, but we see the paranoia coming to fruition today in the idealogical activism of the IRS lately.

Still lurk everyday (but for minutes instead of hours) and post once or twice a week.
Some of my favorite memories was when a late Saturday night thread would go off course with you and dead cracking me up.
If the thread had been pulled by the time I got up the next day, I knew it had been a "good" one.

For me it’s only sobering because I feel some loss. But the deceased good people of FR must be sharing a wonderful, joyful peace. I’m very happy for them and hope, someday, to join them.
I’m still here. This is the place for thoughtful, intelligent postings, after all. Jim says I can’t leave until I make one. Dang it.
