How to I post a JPEG on FR?
(Please, keep it simple, I am not a computer wizard.)

Get a free Photobucket account. Upload the image to it. Photobucket will provide 4 code formats. Copy the 3rd one down and paste it into your post.

Use angle brackets instead of the square ones.

Remove the spaces after the "<" and before the ">"

Clarity is needed - you can't just snag a favorite picture from a desktop folder...it has to be hosted someplace to be transferrable to our posts. ~ ErnBatavia

First your photo must be hosted on a web site like Photobucket - it is free to open an account. You upload your photo to your account. Photobucket supplies the html code you will need to post to FR.

BTW, you are obligated to post your first jpeg here on this thread and ping everybody on the thread.

Oh, a couple of other points.
Post your jpeg between the quotation marks. And your jpeg must be a photo on the web, not your computer (open an account and post on Photobucket or Flicker, for example).
For example, <this is in angle brackets> is
<this is in angle brackets>
