Ironic that my son is watching a Spongebob episode where they find out about Davey Jones Locker —— it ends with the singer performing!
RIP Mr Jones

And just yesterday, out of the blue, I searched “Peter Tork” to see what became of him.
Coincidence?
Well, yes according to the definition.

I was the Program Director of a radio station in Wilm, DE in 1990 and we invited Davy Jones to star at our “#1 in the 90’s” party. Nice guy. He came and blew people away with a great show. He loved being on stage. RIP. Prayers to his family.

Fond memories of my sister and her friends trading Monkee cards. Of course, they were so cool. OK, I was 8. Last Train to Clarksville was my favorite.
RIP, Davy.

RIP — he really was one of the original pop idols.
They have been advertising his upcoming concert in L.A. for the last few weeks. So sad he won’t make it.
And so young!

Damn shame. Loved watching the show as a kid. Another icon from a bye-gone era gone. RIP Davy Jones.
