I guess he’s through monkeying around. RIP.
the passing of an era, an icon.
Oh no. Loved him. So sad and so young. RIP.
Ironic that my son is watching a Spongebob episode where they find out about Davey Jones Locker —— it ends with the singer performing!
RIP Mr Jones
And just yesterday, out of the blue, I searched “Peter Tork” to see what became of him.
Coincidence?
Well, yes according to the definition.
Somewhere, Marcia Brady is in tears... RIP
I was the Program Director of a radio station in Wilm, DE in 1990 and we invited Davy Jones to star at our “#1 in the 90’s” party. Nice guy. He came and blew people away with a great show. He loved being on stage. RIP. Prayers to his family.
Sad to hear.
Sad. Video of his February 19 performance at the link.
Fond memories of my sister and her friends trading Monkee cards. Of course, they were so cool. OK, I was 8. Last Train to Clarksville was my favorite.
RIP, Davy.
RIP — he really was one of the original pop idols.
They have been advertising his upcoming concert in L.A. for the last few weeks. So sad he won’t make it.
And so young!
Sad to hear... RIP Davy.
Wow. My first childhood crush.
Damn shame. Loved watching the show as a kid. Another icon from a bye-gone era gone. RIP Davy Jones.

Great soaring vocal harmonies, and just absolutely stellar guitar and drums on this track.
Most people don’t know, he was a jockey.
Well, now he’s in a Pleasant Vally where it’s Sunday all the time...
