One would assume it sticks up above the track, right? If so why is its shadow on the same side as the shadow of the craters? If it was above ground the shadow should be on the other side. The “object” is a crater.
Looking very closely, there is a shadow on the left side.
However, I do agree, with this resolution, it appears to be a crater. What the straight line "tracks" are, I have no idea.

I suspect those rock tracks have more to do with thermal expansion and cooling every day than anything else.
When the rock gets hot during the day it expands. When it cools at night it contracts. This causes it to ‘walk’ a tiny bit each day
I would love to have a time lapse camera set up to record it. It is just my theory.
