As we approach the end of time amid a flurry of bloody feathers, fish carcasses, and plentiful crab cakes, Google has, as it always does, given us a means of approaching our imminent demise easily and with style.
A new Google Map created yesterday Mass Animal Deaths shows areas of the world that have experienced a recent wave of animal deaths, complete with a link to an article explaining each instance, as well as the number of animals found dead in each case. From dead snapper in New Zealand to birds exploding over Arkansas, troubling animal deaths are just a click away.
And, yes: So far, the map indicates that the U.S. is the animal death capital of the world.
Everyone needs to calm down and eat some fruit or something!
I loves me that movie!
No big deal says Smithsonian bird curator.
Oddly enough, the USGS tracks these things in the us.

Tracks the explanations for the deaths too.

Did you just make that up?
Very good.
Of course that was after I soaked their mound with gasoline and torched them.
So, we don't know where it happened but some suspect someone was lost and got sick eating dead crab found floating around.
thats not fair!!!
Obamacare hasnt fully kicked in yet!!
At this point with the media hype I’d be more concerned about a significant Al Queda attack a-la Shark Attack Summer 2001...
No, saw it somewhere else and just added “Now” to the end.
As my euro friends say the USA is always #1 in confidence.
So, we have a MILE WIDE MISSILE blasting off on the West Coast. There's a MILE WIDE UFO in Texas a couple of months ago. There're events in Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, and if you go back through all these stories it looks like a UFO with a malfunctioning "background stealth projection unit".
So, nothing to worry about ~ happens all the time.
Can we get a mass-RINO death in D.C.? Please?
Good one!
That is truth. US students rank well done the line in math test scores but are #1 in their self assessment of their math skills.
Good idea! I'd like to see where the real problems are - rather than just the stuff that appeals to liberal journalists.
Exactly!
Pass this on to your Euro friends, will you:
take a bath or shower every now and then.
