Need Serious Help.

To make a long story short.... as a child, my brother saw a demon outside our window (back then you had to have the tv by a window because of heat generated). He saw this demon "dancing" around our window. He has been plagued w/ nothing but horror.

Now, in these days, he has over come his demons; however, his first born son has seen this demon, a few months ago, outside his window. His first born son described to him ( at first reluctant that he would not be believed) the same thing my brother saw as a child. My brother was stunned.

We need help. I truly believe in satan and his demons to be as real as we are. What can we do? Who do we turn to?

Some may see this as nonsense, but we are living this in real life. Can anyone help us or at least lead us to someone who can help?

The blood of Christ is all powerful. Lord help us to trust in Him, in his name, in his blood - and empower us to do the Lord’s will. Prayers & fasting, which we don’t do enough, I’m sure. This world is getting in a mess.

Get the entire family in the room, break out the Bible and take turns reading scripture, praising God, and praying. Ask the holy spirit to free your family from this demon.

As a paranormal investigator for 10 years and I have worked on a few demonic oppression cases, ignore most of what you read here, there are no magic prayers, religious incantations, rites or rituals that will work. That is Hollywood mumbo jumbo. First you do have to rule out the medical or the natural causes before you jump to the paranormal. A couple of things of note, believers are going to be tested all the time by the demonic, it's incorrect that because you are saved Demonic forces will flee from your sight. They are always lurking looking for footholds and that includes children. Each of us has demons specially assigned to us, they know everything about us, our likes , dislikes, wants, desires. It's why they disguise themselves as familiar spirits and how the whole New Age movement came to be. You can't ignore, humor or yell them away, you yourself are powerless and that includes any priest or pastor that claims that THEY have any special power or skill. Once again that is Hollywood tripe and religious puffery. They are always “Testing the fences” to try and frighten and shake our faith. One sporadic occurrence I would not get that shook over. I have seen alot of weird and frightening stuff in 10 years but nothing that was long lasting or oppressive. If it continues I can put you in touch with persons who can get you the resources you need to educate and combat what oppresses you.

Same problem here. What you have are ‘familiar spirits’ who are committed to your, well, family.

Do you have any solid Catholic friends? They have access to help they don’t even know about.

GRAB A BIBLE. rebuke it in the name of Jesus (ummmmm.....the demon, of course...not the bible!). remember that demons HAVE to flee in the name of Jesus. (now, they may keep trying to come back......keep rebuking!)

I moved into a place once where I immediately sensed that something bad had happened. I didn’t know what it was, but it was literally the type of thing that would make dogs growl when they walked into the house (since animals are often better at sensing these things than we are).

Finally, we called the local Orthodox priest and had him perform an exorcism and blessing. It worked.

Later I found out that somebody had been murdered in the house; obviously, the prayers put this unquiet soul at rest, and in fact, I think they eventually led to the discovery of the murderer (a former caregiver).

I would say that you should ask St Michael to protect you and then should contact an Orthodox or Catholic priest and ask him to bless the house. The Catholic and Orthodox churches have traditional prayers for this with thousands of years of tradition, and you don’t have to worry about falling into the clutches of some free-lance preacher who might have strange ideas of how to do this. I don’t know what diocese you live in, but you could go online and submit a question to the bishop if you need to find somebody who could help you with this.

If you’re not in contact with Catholics or Orthodox, perhaps you could find a good solid Evangelical church and talk to the minister there and see if they could have a prayer service at your home to help you.

If you are serious, there are certain Priests that are equipped to deal with demons......call your local Catholic Church. - true Fr Gabriele Amorth is the Chief Exorcist of the Catholic Church I believe - be warned however they only deal with real possessions and will insist on psychological evaluation and reports before taking any treat seriously - I would suggest going this route before accepting a demonic presence as reality. In this case the 'demon' seems to be external and not internal....and remember this demon is a family legend, the child may be seeking attention. All of this would have to be proved before a real exorcist would take the case seriously – there are many so called lay exorcists who would be happy to take your money and perform rituals should you like.

Wonder of wonders. In civilized countries whose cultures have not been (yet) corrupted by Hollywood, you’ll find few claims of demon, UFO and Elvis sightings. Trash is having an effect on our psyches.

A person I trust told me a story of seeing a demon several years ago. He told the story in great detail.

I am a bit skeptical of such claims but don’t completely dismiss them either. I will say that something he had mentioned off the cuff maybe 20 years previously, tipped me off that he was telling the truth. I still am not absolutely certain but tend to believe him.

This demonic figure never harmed him or his family or those others who saw him but he finally did exactly what you said and claims the demonic spirit never returned.
