Did the republicans secretly threaten Obama they would raise the eligibility question with him in order to get the Bush tax cuts extended? The president automatically did a about face to his democratic constituents and to the voters who looked up to him to 'Stick It To The Rich' so he could 'Spread The Wealth' as he said he would do on the campaign trail. There is a reason more sinister I feel on why he did this that has the democratic elite in D.C. up in arms. I personally think that the republicans (since they take over the house Jan 4th) pulled him in that meeting and gave him a ultimatum. I believe that they told him that they would go after him and expose his natural born citizen eligibility problem to the American masses and make him step down if he didn't comply and extend the tax cuts. It is a scenario that makes sense and it is something to really think about.
Simple logic. Corrupt courts trump logic.

Obama has already proved it for us. His parents are the reason he is not eligible. Place of birth does not matter.
The Supreme Court Justices have already rejected or denied nine different appeals or applications for injunctions or stays concerning President Obama’s eligibility: Berg v. Obama, Beverly v The Federal Elections Commmission, Craig v US, Donofrio v Wells, Herbert v Obama,
Kerchner v. Obama, Lightfoot v Bowen, Schneller v Cortes, and Wrotnowski v Bysiewicz.
And on top of all that, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court administered the Oath of Office to Obama and when his Electoral College votes were being counted by Vice President Cheney, not one member of Congress out of 535 objected to the certification of his Electoral votes.
I guess time will tell...

What's to expose? He is not a natural born Citizen and that is a fact.
This hypothesis assumes that the Republicans would actually have the balls to do such a thing.
If that being the case, I would much rather see them expose him for the charlatan that he is and be done with him. This is the big fish that needs to be fried.
I think the whole thing is a game. The far left is willing to take one step back for 10 steps forward. They gain because Obama looks like he is willing to compromise for the good of the people and helps him look like he is bipartisan. This wasn’t all that important to them as they have much bigger things that they hope to throw over on the American people like getting masses of illegals to become full fledged Democrat voters from now on into unforeseeable future and making voting them out nearly impossible.
I think the “uproar” over the tax cut deal was staged. Obama used it to distract us while he signed Pigford yesterday. There must have been some big celebrating in black communities last night! “We gonna get some of the stash!”
