Look who's tied to Obama's birth certificate: 'It just keeps getting deeper and deeper, doesn't it?

Just when you thought there couldn't be any more players in the ongoing soap opera over the hunt for President Obama's original birth certificate and his constitutional eligibility for office, there comes yet another name: Elena Kagan.

Yes, the same Elena Kagan nominated by the commander in chief to be the next justice on the U.S. Supreme Court has actually been playing a role for some time in the dispute over whether Obama is legally qualified to be in the White House.

Here's the connection. Kagan served as solicitor general of the United States from March 2009 until May of this year.

In that role, she legally represented the U.S. government in numerous cases coming before the Supreme Court.

A simple search of the high court's own website reveals Kagan's name coming up at least nine times on dockets involving Obama eligibility issues.

(CHART AT LINK)

Docket No, 09-724, for instance, comes up with this in the search result:

Title: The Real Truth About Obama, Inc., Petitioner v. Federal Election Commission, et al. Reply of petitioner The Real Truth About Obama, Inc. filed. The Real Truth About Obama, Inc. Elena Kagan...(continued)

Let’s not be naive. The Senate knows full well Kagan has carried Bammy’s water so to speak and now she gets the seat. Sorry to be so cynical but that’s how DC works. And yes, DC is a sewer!

Maybe the nation’s capital needs to be moved to Wyoming.

We’re on the same page. I think incumbents give the NOOBS a stern talking to, and only the strong and principled survive that talk and we know them by name and their votes.

I despise Senate incumbents.

The House stands for reelection every two years. The House is NOT much of a problem. Our side’s been almost perfect.

Yup.

It’s the stinkin’ Senate. I think the state legistlatures should pick them the way they used to.

I wouldn’t spit on most Senators even if they were on fire.

Sometimes I wonder if all newly elected congresspeople, once they arrive in D.C., end up in a private meeting with quiet, unknown, but extremely powerful people who lay down the law about how they’ll have to tow the right side of the line or the left side of the line but not too far right. The penalty for not doing this is ruin.

Seems like almost all of them get corrupt when they get there and they just put on a show that is fodder for the press and for some of the more stupid citizens who actually fall for it.

I think there is a lot of truth in what you are saying.

Has it always been this bad, or has it been only the past few years?

"And risk being called a birther?

How about being called a persuer of the truth? Or is that too harsh for them?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

That's one of the things that just absolutely astonishes me. Being called a name...."birther." Big freakin deal. Are we (they) in elementary school or something? I mean, so what if they throw that juvinile label around. Seriously. Grow a pair already.

Great gobs of goose grease..
The scope of the conspiracy to pull this off would have to be beberific...
I thought Kagan have very little stuff to vet..
If so, her cases would have to be number one on that list..
Unless the republicans didn't vet her AT ALL...........

Maybe ALL the republican Senators ARE MORONS... -or- complicit(gofers)..

" the pronoun "her" which has been used to describe our President "

This would explain his baseball pitch, the endless speeches, and the inability to give up the Blackberry.

We’ll always have “seasoned” senators because of the revolving 6 year terms.

The House is another matter, but too many districts are gerrymandered that ensures the reelection of several incumbents.

The Senate is the chamber that lacks Constitution loyalty on our side. We have good guys (and women) in the House, but our Senate side is pathetic.

Snowe and Collins are more democrat than Republican, and they only serve to give the Republicans a number count for the GOP. I think we can say the same for Scott Brown, but the majority is important when it comes to setting the agenda. They’re not reliable votes, but several others aren’t either and they’re ALL INCUMBENTS!

One more reason why we need to vote for people who have the courage to buck the system. Those who cower when the lying media call them “birthers” probably aren’t ready to go to Corruption City for us.

I think it should be a badge of honor to be called a “proud birther”.

That’s the power of the LSM. “Birther” when in fact, we still know nothing about the son of the Kenyan, Muslim, Communist who holds the office of POTUS, because the same LSM, never investigated him, on purpose!
