Just when you thought there couldn't be any more players in the ongoing soap opera over the hunt for President Obama's original birth certificate and his constitutional eligibility for office, there comes yet another name: Elena Kagan.
Yes, the same Elena Kagan nominated by the commander in chief to be the next justice on the U.S. Supreme Court has actually been playing a role for some time in the dispute over whether Obama is legally qualified to be in the White House.
Here's the connection. Kagan served as solicitor general of the United States from March 2009 until May of this year.
In that role, she legally represented the U.S. government in numerous cases coming before the Supreme Court.
A simple search of the high court's own website reveals Kagan's name coming up at least nine times on dockets involving Obama eligibility issues.

Kagen was also the protector of Obama’s Harvard advisor, Larry Tribe, campaign committee participant, and perhaps the brains behind supporting McCain, whose ineligibility would provide cover for Obama’s. Tribe and same sex marriage hero Ted Olson provided faux legal opinion to the 2008 Senate Res. 511, pretending to fix McCain's ineligibility. Every lawyer knew it could do no such thing, but it distracted from Obama’s British father and citizenship at birth., and shut the mouths of any legislative Republicans who might otherwise have raised the very obvious eligibility question about Obama. Harvard Const. Law Professor Larry Tribe was caught having plagiarized a book. He could and probably should have been dismissed, a law professor violating both ethics and copyright laws. But Kagen quietly convened a committee of progressives who talked until it blew over. There was no question of Tribe's complicity - though he blamed an assistant who wrote most of the book for him.

Interesting, last night I specifically caught a short sentence from Gov. Sarah Palin talking to Hannity about Soetoro, saying:....”and not being vetted by the voters”,....hmmmm!!!
