No, looks like you'll take it lying down with a 50 pack of Oreos.

I saw some Mexican comic on Larry King who unleashed a constant stream of Mexican stereotypes. Every time they went to him with a question he'd start angrily denouncing the law because it would cause the police to pull over people with "big hats, driving beatup cars with 10 people inside, or wearing big fat belts and pointy shoes, keeping a beat with Maraccas, or if I'm eating beans, is he going to ask for my papers?"

Uhhhhhhhhh, somebody is focusing on racial stereotypes -- but I think it's the Left.

I don’t like baseball, but it looks like I’m buying some AZ Diamondbacks gear.

Don't lay down Linda. It would take a crane to put you back on your feet. Lay off the truffle tacos.

"Mexican-Americans are not going to take this lying down," singer Linda Ronstadt.

From what I understand, Linda took it lying down with just about everybody in the West Coast music scene.

In Mexico City, Mayor Marcelo Ebrard announced he would try to join lawsuits seeking to overturn the law, with a statement from his office calling the measure "a planned Apartheid against Mexicans."

And officials in El Salvador urged countrymen to avoid traveling to Arizona, according to the Foreign Ministry.

So the mayor of Mexico City is going to sue to overturn the law? The way Mexico intervenes in our politics just makes my blood boil. I agree with the El Salvador official's boycott--stay the Hell home. Quit coming here looking for a handout.

Eeew. I guess it depends on what your definition of "entertainers" is.

BTW, the hispanics I know and have grown up with oppose illegal immigration, just like the majority of us do.

‘Entertainers’ the world over are traditionally the sub-culture most at variance with establishment/government opinion.

Has anyone noticed that in America, we now have a situation where the ‘sub-culture’ (in America’s case, an aggregate of sub-cultures massed to form a single populace) represents the establishment?

If taken each on their own, NOT ONE of these sub-cultures represents anything like a numeric majority or holds economic/social/educational/cultural parity with mainstream America or the actual numeric preponderance of people sharing a common culture in this country…. i.e., the Americans who work, pay taxes, and who feel profound, enduring and absolute allegiance to THIS country to the exclusion of all others…etc…..

It is not RACIST or anything else, to believe that this exclusive and hard-won right to NATIONAL sovereignty may NOT be lawfully challenged within the borders of the U.S.!!!!

It’s simple…Chinese may protect THEIR borders; Swiss may protect THEIR borders; Paraguayans may protect THEIR borders, etc.…. Why is this issue politicized beyond all logic in the U.S..????????????????
