In October of this year, one month prior to the November midterm elections, a special army unit known as 'Consequence Management Response Force' will be ready for deployment on American soil if so ordered by the President.
The special force, which is the new name being given to the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 3rd Infantry, has been training at Fort Stewart, Georgia and is composed of 80,000 troops.

Fellow Freepers..this is what has been scaring me for a long, long time. I am a mom with 3 children, and I am so frightened about situations like this. Is there any hope? Can any of you see ANY positives? Will there even BE an election this November? Please, my fellow Patriots..can any of you see the light at the end of this tunnel?
It gets very ugly very quickly. We did that as a nation over 100 years ago.

My question too. I know the Constitution means nothing to these people but it’s really hard (but far from impossible) to believe they are this stupid/arrogant/suicidal (take your pick).
B. 80,000 troops? That's one heck of a brigade.
Maybe, but I very much doubt it and those that do will quickly find themselves opposed by the majority of their own.

Our boys and girls will become more than a thorn in his side. Which is why he started by saying he needs a “Civilian Security Force” as well funded and equipped as our military.

What about the fact that the article says half the military is FOR Obama; half is AGAINST Obama. What does that indicate?

I trust our military to uphold the Constitution. Unlike the Administration, Congress or the Courts.
Normal patriotic citizens in the Military will deploy common sense, and refuse illegal orders.

Wouldn’t that be a violation of the Posse Comitatus Act? I thought the military could only be deployed as National Guard by request of the Governor of the state.

In 1967, the 91st Engineer Battalion, Fort Belvoir, Virginia got riot control duty for Washington D.C. In 1968 they got lots of ammunition. Not a new thing, this.
Every single troop I have ever known would refuse that order.
