Fellow Freepers..this is what has been scaring me for a long, long time. I am a mom with 3 children, and I am so frightened about situations like this. Is there any hope? Can any of you see ANY positives? Will there even BE an election this November? Please, my fellow Patriots..can any of you see the light at the end of this tunnel?

Tyrants and totalitarian systems do not last. If the USA Republic falls, I have no doubt it will eventually rise again.

If the warsaw pact nations made it through communism, I have no doubt that the Americans can do the same, but it may not be in my lifetime.

I trust in the Lord. What does not kill you makes you stronger, and he will not give you more than you can bear. Pray daily for your country, and your family is the best thing to do.

Give your troubles and fears to him, and take whatever actions you can to help.

Stock up on food, water, necessities and ammunition.

I’m not seeing any. I hope I’m wrong, but my gut is feeling exactly like it did before things went to hell in LA for a week in 1992.

We have to proceed on the assumption that the election will take place. We can’t give up the fight just because we fear the election will be shut down somehow. It might be, but maybe it won’t be.

I can't blame you for being alarmed - as anyone who has been paying attention surely should be. The lessons a of history are also as clear as the blue sky above. When monsters acquire control of the apparatus of the State - as they have done so here, now, today - nothing good can come of it. In fact, history teaches us that slaughter and atrocity are the all-too-common outcomes.

The question is: what are you going to do about it? How will you protect yourself and your family? At the end of the day, if the answers to those questions seem a little, well, extreme, then you're thinking correctly.

So you can either make things happen or you can let them happen to you - and your loved ones. If you're living in an exposed urban area - get the HELL out. Now. You don't have much time. Make arrangements with relatives who live in a safer area, and be prepared to offer value in kind. Don't show up with nothing, or worse, don't show up with no abilities.

Take a deep breath SandyLynn, while it is true Active military has fired upon citizens in the past, killing them, that was a very long time ago (1933 IIRC).

Today we have a Army of young combat vets who are citizen of the first stripe.

Fear instead for the pols and thier supporters who would rob you of your freedon a piece at a time....
