Dear Mrs. Bachmann
You once said to your many supporters about the then propose Health Care bill that "This cannot pass. What we have to do today is make a covenant, to slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing. This will not pass. We will do whatever it takes to make sure this doesn't pass."....You stood on principles back then but where is your principles now when you are inviting someone who certainly doesn't stand for the kind of principles you profess in to campaign for you? I'm talking about Sarah Louise Palin, that woman who sold her soul to John McCain, who is an enemy of America and the Tea Parties across this country by sliding up next to RINO's and CINO's alike.
SO Michele, I see that you want Mrs. Palin to come to a rally in St. Paul MN, on the 7th to help you out on your reelection bid. I've also heard that you even had your staff plan for months to get Palin up in your neck of the woods but more than that you desired a MN fundraiser also with her exclusively to raise money. SO THAT IS THE CRUX OF THE HOLD MATTER? YOU DESIRE MONEY! You would rather sell out your principles, YOUR CONSERVATIVE VALUES for a 'FEW DOLLARS MORE'? Shouldn't you owe yourself first to those who support you rather than one who opposes the very thing you claim you stand against?
There are plenty of truly bona fide conservative men and women across this money that can raise money for you, why would you go hand in hand with Palin one night but the next day claim you agree with the Tea Party movement as though nothing happen. We believed in you Michele but now you have polluted yourself and now more than ever we don't need that type to fight for us in D.C, we need true conservatives who stand on principles not stand for mere reelection principles....Shame on you Mrs. Bachmann, Shame on you!
WTF is this BS?
WTF is this BS?
I’m frustrated with Sarah, too, but don’t take this out on Michelle. There are few Republican women in higher office and to smear them together is not healthy or fair. There are times people can agree to disagree, and this is one of them.
WTF is this BS?
In before the zot!
Shouldn’t this post be in “Breaking News”?
Oh lay off Sarah. She was between a rock and a hard spot. The media would have trounced her if she had of snubbed the man who put her in the national spotlight in the first place.
No doubt liberal disinformation being seeded around.
Dreaded double post!
this has got to be a joke
Froth much?
Harsh man.
This is really good sarcasm.
Oh, and perhaps its time to toss JD himself under the bus:
Not even JD himself is going to fall for the usual 'Palin is the enemy' crap. Even HE gets it.
BLITZER: You know that Sarah Palin who was his running mate says she's going to support John McCain and try to get him that nomination instead of you. How do you feel about that? And there's this gem from JD:HAYWORTH: Well, I think we all understand the impulse of gratitude in politics and obviously Senator McCain, one of the decisions I applaud him for was putting Sarah Palin on the ticket. I think it gave great excitement to the Republican base and I can understand why she's coming here. But what's interesting, Wolf, in the social media, as I understand it, there's a new page on Facebook, Sarah Palin fans for JD but in the final analysis, it's not Sarah Palin from Alaska, It's Sarah Boyd in Scottsdale and others like her. Arizonans will decide who will be the next senator from this great state.
VIDEO:"I look forward to having Mrs. Palin's support following the primary on August 24th."
These people criticizing Sarah Palin know nothing about strategy.
The woman is brilliant. There is a purpose to everything she does.
Read her book and you will understand.
That’s as funny as this is from Hotair.
John Ziegler
Senator Palin?
Palins popularity in her adopted home state has been in steady decline ever since she was chosen as John McCains VP candidate. There are many reasons for this, many of which have nothing to do with her. I saw the extent of this erosion of support first-hand when we screened Media Malpractice in Anchorage last spring and it was why I asked Palin about resigning well before she shocked the world by doing so.
I also know that some people pretty close to her in Alaska who feel as if she has gone Hollywood (my words, not theirs) and that the real Sarah Palin may be on the verge of being lost forever. There is no doubt that a documentary of this type, which will bring enormous exposure and probably tourist income to Alaska will restore some of her ice cred and popularity there.
Why is this important? Well, it isnt because of Alaskas three electoral votes. It seems to me that at least part of what this path provides is the possibility of running for Alaskas currently Democrat-held U.S. Senate seat in 2014. Under this scenario Palin leads the GOP to victory in 2010, immediately gets out of the way of the other contenders by announcing that, for the good of the team, she is not running for president, and then, after Obama wins reelection she declares herself for the Senate seat. This way she avoids an inevitable defeat and emerges tanned, rested and ready (and, in the minds of many people, more experienced/seasoned) to be the frontrunner for the 2016 nomination in a year that looks like a slam-dunk for Republicans.(excerpt)
