“Patrick Henrys Fight for Liberty”
Posted March 23rd, 2010 at 6:30pm
SNIPPET: “In light of this weeks events, many Americans are frustrated and disheartened. But we should take heart. Today marks the 235th anniversary of Patrick Henrys famous speech, when he proclaimed Give me liberty, or give me death. This sentiment represents a legacy much older and nobler than tyrannical healthcare legislation and should inspire our efforts to restore liberty.”
SNIPPET: “Americans should remember his courage and strive to revive our commitment to liberty and self-government.”
Every opponent of this bill should begin over-using the system once the “benefits” kick in. If we all clogged the clinics, doctors’ offices. ER’s and hospitals in a mass movement the funding required to support it would bankrupt the system almost immediately.

“Dates That Destroyed America”
by Chuck Baldwin
SNIPPET: “People concerned about the future of freedom and prosperity in America should line up quickly and demand that their respective State legislatures and governors resist this new health care bill, even to the point of refusing to implement it in their states. More than 30 states are threatening to take the health care bill to court. But states must do more than that. They must follow the lead of the State of Virginia and pass legislation refusing to comply with it. Yes, Im saying it: it is time for another State rebellion! If states do not stand up and draw their lines in the sand now, it will be forever too late.”

“Long Train Running 1971” [Doobie Brothers]
Video Description - Quote:
February 24, 2008
This show was recorded on June 14th of 1971 at the West Filmore in San Fransisco. It is a very early version of the song, not long after Tom Johnston started to ad-lib the words.
Down around the corner,
half a mile from here,
you see them old trains running
and you watch them disappear
Without love, where would you be now?
Ya know I saw miss lucy,
saw her die today
brass ring on her finger
and the last words that she say
Without love, where would you be now?

“Republican Lawmaker Expects Supreme Court to Decide Constitutionality of Health Care Laws Individual Mandate”
Wednesday, March 24, 2010
By Nicholas Ballasy, Video Reporter
SNIPPET: “(CNSNews.com) - Reps. Jack Kingston (R-Ga.) and Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) told CNSNews.com that the Constitution does not give Congress the authority to require individuals to buy health insurance, as mandated by the new health care bill that was signed into law on Tuesday.”
SNIPPET: “It is not present in the Constitution, said Rep. Bachmann. In fact, theres tremendous Constitutional problems with the bill. There is no precedent for requiring an American citizen, as a condition of citizenship, to purchase a product or service against their will because government mandates they must buy it.
Rep. Kingston agreed with Bachmann and predicted that the constitutionality of the individual mandate will be decided by the Supreme Court.
I dont think that its in the Constitution, and I think there are going to be a lot of lawsuits to contest that point, he told CNSNews.com.”

“We’ve Only Just Begun” [The Carpenters]
Video Description - quote:
November 11, 2009
We’ve Only Just Begun Lyrics
Artist: The Carpenters
We’ve only just begun to live
White lace and promises
A kiss for luck and we’re on our way
(We’ve only begun)
Before the risin’ sun, we fly
So many roads to choose
We’ll start out walkin’ and learn to run
And yes, we’ve just begun
Sharing horizons that are new to us
Watching the signs along the way
Talkin’ it over, just the two of us
Workin’ together day to day
Together
Together
And when the evening comes, we smile
So much of life ahead
We’ll find a place where there’s room to grow
And yes, we’ve just begun
Sharing horizons that are new to us
Watching the signs along the way
Talkin’ it over, just the two of us
Workin’ together day to day
Together
Together
And when the evening comes, we smile
So much of life ahead
We’ll find a place where there’s room to grow
And yes, we’ve just begun

“Healthcare repeals filed in Congress”
Chad Groening - OneNewsNow - 3/24/2010 4:00:00 AM
SNIPPET: “One of the most conservative members of the United States Congress has filed a bill to revoke what he is calling “Obamacare.”
Congressman Steve King (R-Iowa) knows it will be a long and hard fight to repeal the newly enacted $938-billion healthcare overhaul pushed through Sunday by Democrats without a single Republican vote. The battle on the judicial front has already begun, with several lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of the far-reaching measure. Meanwhile, King has launched another front.
“I have introduced the request for the repeal,” he explains. “It’s not much time to lick our wounds, in fact no time to do that, [but] come right back up and go to work and keep taking it to them.””
