What's the deal with Hannity's football throwing?

I watch Sean's T'V show almost every night, and think his show is pretty good, but I don't get the deal with him throwing a football at the end of each segment, and missing the libs and commie's. Come on Sean! You sit close enough to them that you should be able to hit them square in the face.

He said on his show once that his son comes to the studio after school and hangs out, and Sean likes tossing the football to him just to have some fun with him.

It reminds me of Olbermann throwing trash at the screen (does he still do that?). I wish Hannity would stop it.

His summer rallies are huge football throwing events. He really gets them way out there in the audience. Dozens were thrown in the NJ show...all the other “stars” got into it too. Ollie North could not begin to match him for distance.

It seems foolish on the TV though.

Sean is a nice enough guy, but just not that bright. He's out of his element discussing politics. Maybe he's in his element playing touch football.

He's painfully predictable and shallow to the point that it's slightly embarrassing having him on our side. His ratings success is a total mystery to me.

I like the first half hour, then as soon as he says we'll be back with the great great great panel, that's when switch channels. That's also the part with the football toss, which I don't get ether

I went to the Hannity Freedom Concert in 2009, and he was throwing those small footballs into the audience. It was after that I noticed he was doing it on his show (If he threw them before the freedom concerts, I didnt notice).

When he's on script he is enjoyable to listen to, but if he gets a Liberal caller on his radio show that happens to be a better debater than he, Sean turns to mush. I often catch myself yelling at the radio telling him to say this or that, but he never does.

If you think Hannity’s show is good, you must have switched channels before the Great, Great, Great, Great, Great American Panel - the most boring 15 minutes in television.

Yea , thats the deal. As long as he’s on our side( and he does bring in people) then I’m fine with him.
