Obama's America - in a Superbowl Ad.

Is it just me, or does this Audi "Green Police" ad succinctly summarize Obama's dream for America? It's a perfect melding of enviro-soviets and police state fascism.

That ad really ticked me off. I was ranting about it for like 10 minutes.

I thought it made a lot of fun of the fascistic tactics of the Green movement, but appeared to say they were okay.

I think people dislike the Audi ad because it doesn’t fit into their worldview. I hate using a lib term, but there it is . . . if you were offended by the Audi ad, the parody went over your head, and you concentrated on its appeal to the “smug factor” over the parody that exists.

All that ad made me want to do is to expend rounds of hi-caliber ammunition.

Was that supppsed to be funny? That had me so ticked! Man, even when progressives are trying to be funny, they show what creeps they really are!

It was a bust. Everyone at my party said it was the wrong message and done badly. Definitely the worst commercial from a list of pretty good S.B. comml’s overall.

A couple quick observations on that "parody"
1. Even if the story was meant to be absurd, the commercial was plainly supportive of an environmentalist message, as shown by them waving the silly "green diesel" Obamamobile through.
2. There is nothing even remotely "humorous" about innocent people being harassed, roughed up, physically thrown about, and terrorized in their homes by a government police force, so even as "parody" it was a poor one.
3. Though it purported to show an absurd extreme, the commercial was actually so close to the reality desired by the environmental communist wack jobs that all intended parody effect was lost.
And just read the stories out of Britain where they actually do have environmental police forces that ticket people who don't sort their garbage for mandatory recycling and that spy on homes suspected of having too many televisions or large appliances.

That commercial was obscene.

In which case a parody ad airing during the Super Bowl just might be the most effective antidote.

Really disgusting. Their diesel technology is good but Audi cars are incredibly overrated. Enjoy when they break and you have to pay for repairs and parts.
