Here is video showing the dangers of being so heavily dependent on a teleprompter. President Obama was speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast and was telling about a Navy Corpsman who assisted the suffering people of Haiti. But as his head bobbed back and forth between his two teleprompters, he read the word "Corpsman" and pronounced it "Corpse Man" twice. . . . (VIDEO)

Exactly! Instead of giving his own speech, which he has internalized, and therefore would have been sure how to pronounce the word “Corpsman,” he is just reading what is loaded into the telprompter. That’s how you make mistakes like that. Either that, or he has no clue about the word “Corpsman.” Either option is bad.

You know, the funny thing is, way back when Jeremiah Wright became an issue, everybody was talking about how he (Wright) had been a Navy Corpsman and had actually been recognized for taking care of LBJ at Bethesda...

“He can’t pronounce corpsman for several reasons.
1-0 has no military experience, at least not in the USA.
2-0 has never seen a world war 2 movie where they scream Corpsman! Corpsman! so he probably has never seen a John Wayne movie either. 0 has nothing to do with this countries greatness and nothing in common with it.”
3-0 has never been to Walter Reed Military Hospital visiting wounded vets from overseas, and understand the language of a military hospital.

IIRC, President Bush did make the same error way back. But at least he never referred to Penn State as the Nitally Lions.
