They just said on CNN that three people were taken into custody and two released. The 3rd one is still in custody.

They knew every detail about this guy within 10 minutes of ID'ing the shooter.
He may have been born in Jordan, immigrated here and got on the fast track to U.S. citizenship via the military.
Just guessing. But we do have lots of express line “citizens” in our military, esp. Marines from what I’ve heard.
His cousin said that Hasan’s parents are Americans. Of course that doesnt mean that they were born here.
Dont know for sure, but my guess is that Hasan was born here. The cousin said he lived in the U.S. all his life.
Whats the big delay? Is there something here that might be politically ugly or damaging more than we already know?

On another thread, someone said he lived in Vinton, Va and likely graduated from William Bird High. Also, there was some talk of him being involved with a Mosque in DC that has terror links.

Know we know why the delay in the news conference down in Texas...The Feds were looking at this guy regarding bomb threats on the Internet....
We have a lot of other “homegrown terrorists” in the military who are from criminal street gangs. I can never figure out how that happens, as they are easy to spot and a cursory investigation should reveal their affiliations. They would hook up with the other terrorists in a heartbeat if there was something in it for them.
Not just the military, my friend. Obama's government is making an all out effort to recruit middle east types to all government agencies, including intel. Actually being given preference, no lie.
