$3500 in tax cuts.
Is this ‘per pet’?
If so, I have an ANT FARM.

Our two Newfoundland dogs are about to start charging us rent. They claim they adopted us, instead of the reverse! Keep threatening to haul us both off to the pound if we don't give them more cookies. We do love our pups.

They are our overlords. We serve them anyway. What's the old saying? Dogs have owners. Cats have staff.

Once one reads the actual ‘bill’, and also finds it’s not a top priority with the current session, it seems a pretty good bill.
It’s much better than any other bill that has been in the news the last 10 months.

Yes. My wife has a refrigerator magnet that says:
“The dogs own the house. The people pay the mortgage.”

Did you read the bill or just the description in the article?

Oppose.
1. I want to see more tax breaks for families with children. I love my dog, but he’s my responsibility, not anybody else’s.
2. This is a form of pet registration, you’d have to file ownership with the state, which is a means by which they could deny pet ownership based on things like, owning a gun, etc.

Kinda funny, what with all of the pit bull haters on FR as the pit bull is the only one out of six dogs I own that even files his taxes.

Ya know, EVERY issue isn’t about abortion. I know people that are ambivalent about abortion and your post is one of the reasons why. They think first that linking the pet tax breaks and abotion is stupid and that people like you are a fanatical one issue nut that they don’t take seriously.
I am prolife and the minute I start talking about abortion they start hearing people like you in their mind and tune me out.

Mason dog keeps watching for his Social Security check.
Lizzy cat wants a wildlife management grant.
Malcolm cat may be a liberal.
He watched a documentary on lions and has had a “bring it to me!” attitude ever since.

“Where does he land on protecting baibies from abortion?”
Not sure, do you know? There ARE other issues, you know...and NOT ONE GOP candidate to date (including Bush) has done anything to curb abortions, but keep hanging your hat on that and see where it gets us.

Yes, Bush did. He reversed the Clinton endorsement of abortion.
And Bush worked for the elimination of stem-cell research.

Are you going to a Planned Parenthood to pray during the 40 Days for Life -- Pray to End Abortion No, as I am now tired of the subject of abortion.
I am going to go talk to my dog about his taxes.
