Vanity: Strange thing in my town today.

I live in a university town, not too large or small. Today (Sunday) I go out to buy gas. The first two stations I went to were closed, no gas. This never happens. The third station I went to had long lines. I passed another open station on the way home--again, long lines. I've not seen anything like this since the early 1970s.
Not drawing conclusions, just reporting.

Hmmmm. Let's see now. 1970’s, Jimah Cahtah = gas shortage plus inflation.
2009, Obambi = gas shortage, economic collapse.
Coincidence? I think not.

Plenty of gas or was that guns in Texas?
Maybe a typo. ;-) Hopefully Texas will secede with other like minded states following. Texas has energy, electriity. hopefully enough water, guns, tanks if needed, a real economy, food, etc.

On a different note, I went into my local staples here in Maine and boy is the stock thin! They only had a few of the cameras in stock.
