Dear FReeper FRiends,
My son has recently found that out that he has lymphoma. He underwent surgery today and they completely removed one of his lymph nodes. It will be sent off for more tests to find out exactly what kind of cancer it is and how to treat it. It was first thought he had thyroid cancer, however, that's not being considered anymore.
I am in Texas and he is in San Diego at the Balboa Naval Medical Center. He was stationed on the USS George Washington and they were underway when he discovered the lump in his thyroid. They hit port in Australia and he was flown back to Japan they did few more tests and then he flew to San Diego where he is now. His wife is from there and he has in-laws and other relatives in SD. He is a very strong, courageous and capable young man.
We've also recently found out that he and his wife have their first baby on the way.
I've never been one to post on the prayer threads, but I do read them and I do pray for the individuals and their families. I believe whole-heartedly in the power of prayer.
Please pray for my son's speedy recovery.

Word of God, please replace the defective information in this dear sister’s son’s body with your perfect information. In Jesus Holy Name, Amen
Lord, I lift up this warrior and his growing family to You! Please guide the doctors and give them wisdom in treating his condition. Strengthen his wife and cause this stress to bear no harm to the developing baby Lord. I pray for total and complete healing of this honorable man Lord, all according to Your will!
Don’t worry babyfreep. The Lord works His plan. We don’t know why, but He’s got literally trillions of plans and human interactions in process. No matter what happens rejoice in the Lord! Just as Job did. PLEASE keep us up to date on progress. I expect and pray for complete healing! :)
