If they tried this in Cambridge or Brookline Mass., the comrades would burn the place down.

Throw in two-way radio of some kind- then you can shoot, move and communicate.

A C-B? Do people (besides police and fire) still use them?

I bought one for my transcontinental road trip in 2003. The CB frequencies were very busy. Most of it was kids making garbage transmissions, but some of it was useful. I eavesdropped on the trucker freqs for useful local intel sometimes.

That's good to know. So if ‘something’ was to happen to the phone lines and cell phone towers, folks still have CB’s as a mode to communicate, especially for picking up intel. Nice! I have walkie-talkies stored away in case ‘something’ ever happens.

"This guy's a marketing genius!"I agree. The error is that a semi-automatic AK is not an assualt rifle.

There are other and potentially better options for emergency comm, GMRS/FRS frequency radios, for instance. I’d look into getting a Ham license also, for longer range options. Having a CB handy for monitoring (as well as a good scanner) might be good ideas, as well.

Right - it would need two firing settings (semi and full auto) to be an assault rifle, correct?
