In a quest that is seen as wacky, way out there and as bitter partisan politics by some,the issue of Obama not showing his birth certificate to prove he is a naturalized American citizen continues. Is this really just some conspiracy theory along the lines of 9/11 truthers and alien cover ups? At first glance it seems like it. But surprisingly many American’s seem to actually believe there is some possibility of truth in this claim that Obama is not a citizen. WND continues to run stories on it but most recently a congressman’s town hall meeting became overwhelmed with the issue.
Many people will immediately jump up and say “Obama produced a birth certificate, what more do you want?” Apparently Obama provided a certificate of live birth (COLB) which is not the same as a long form birth certificate. The long form birth certificate should provide evidence that can be corroborated. The COLB provided on factcheck.org does not show a hospital, doctor’s name or anything else that can be checked, just a time and city. This COLB can also be obtained by non citizens.
Obama could easily release his long form birth certificate but hasn’t. Just to stop people from talking about it and to show that he has the most transparent administration, you think he would.
Many liberals, moderates and even some conservatives will probably read this and just say “get over it already.” There is a time to let things go and personally I already have. Not because I don’t think it’s important but because I think Obama will never release this information and even if it is true that he is not a natural citizen, that nothing will change. But should people just get over this? If it is true, it is the biggest scam in history. People never got over Bush’s decision to go to war with Iraq, should everyone just forget about this issue?
The argument could easily be made that if Obama does not qualify to be president than all of the bills he signed and executive orders he issued would have to be undone. This is very important but would cause huge upheaval. I don’t know if the American people would be able to handle this kind of event and the ramifications of the loss in trust of the government. It doesn’t mean the truth shouldn’t be fully investigated though but I sincerely doubt it ever will be

I wouldn’t put too much stock in the ads in the paper one way or another, actually. But, I’m not exactly sure if you are saying that the “presentation” of those ads are fake “today” — or — they were fake “back then”...
In other words, is someone “making up” the ads and then saying that they existed back then (but they didn’t really exist). Or is someone saying that a person put in an ad that was intended to be fake back then?
I don’t know which of the two you are saying...

Let me ask you a question. Which is harder to believe:
A) A teenage college coed shotgun bride in Hawaii, with radical feminist views, has second thoughts about her marriage and flys with her baby to some family friends in Seattle to get away from her scoundrel of a husband, possibly a bigamist, and judgemental parents.
or:
B) A pregnant teenage college coed, with radical feminist views, flies half way around the world, in 1961 no less, on a journey likely lasting a couple days, that she can't even afford, just so she could become part of her polygamist babydaddy's harem and give birth under third world conditions.

I’ll first preface the following by saying I’m not sure how much Obama is going to help out on that mater in any case.
In having said that, I’ll now say that I don’t think that this birth certificate issue that is talked about here is really affecting Obama one way or another. I don’t think he’s really doing anything about it or paying attention to it. Maybe some aides are, maybe some lawyers are, but I doubt Obama is.
So, in that regards, Obama is probably doing just what he would do, anyway, about the economy — even without — the birth certificate issue existing.
At least that’s my perception of what difference it’s making to him. Now, on the other hand, the birth certificate makes a *big difference* to a lot of people who would never vote for Obama in a million years. And the issue is taking a certain amount of time and/or energy. I don’t know how much that takes away from other things that people might do — but I do know that we all only have so much time in a day to do things.
In any case, I still think the best solution is getting your state legislature to pass a state law requiring the specific documentation for being on the ballot (like I’ve said... :-) ...).

I’m not completely up on Obama’s 1981 trip to Pakistan. The U.S may have had a “no travel” ban to Pakistan in place. Thus, Obama would have used a foreign passport to travel (which could then be evidence that he is not a natural born American citizen.)

Another aspect of the left’s DISINGENUOUS narrative of current events.
This is a THRESHOLD issue should have been addressed last year. If we were truly a nation of laws and educated citizens, resolving this issue would be a no-brainer.
It’s no coincidence that Crazy Howard resigned as DNC chair. Eventually, when things go south for Odumbo, Howie will be the fall guy.
Indonesian law does not supercede U.S. law. And U.S. law states that citizenship can only be given up by the citizen themself, and only when he or she is an adult. It cannot be given up for them and it cannot be relinquished by accident. And if this violated Indonesian law then it would be the Indonesian citizenship that would be fraudulent, wouldn't it?
