In a quest that is seen as wacky, way out there and as bitter partisan politics by some,the issue of Obama not showing his birth certificate to prove he is a naturalized American citizen continues. Is this really just some conspiracy theory along the lines of 9/11 truthers and alien cover ups? At first glance it seems like it. But surprisingly many American’s seem to actually believe there is some possibility of truth in this claim that Obama is not a citizen. WND continues to run stories on it but most recently a congressman’s town hall meeting became overwhelmed with the issue.
Many people will immediately jump up and say “Obama produced a birth certificate, what more do you want?” Apparently Obama provided a certificate of live birth (COLB) which is not the same as a long form birth certificate. The long form birth certificate should provide evidence that can be corroborated. The COLB provided on factcheck.org does not show a hospital, doctor’s name or anything else that can be checked, just a time and city. This COLB can also be obtained by non citizens.
Obama could easily release his long form birth certificate but hasn’t. Just to stop people from talking about it and to show that he has the most transparent administration, you think he would.
Many liberals, moderates and even some conservatives will probably read this and just say “get over it already.” There is a time to let things go and personally I already have. Not because I don’t think it’s important but because I think Obama will never release this information and even if it is true that he is not a natural citizen, that nothing will change. But should people just get over this? If it is true, it is the biggest scam in history. People never got over Bush’s decision to go to war with Iraq, should everyone just forget about this issue?
The argument could easily be made that if Obama does not qualify to be president than all of the bills he signed and executive orders he issued would have to be undone. This is very important but would cause huge upheaval. I don’t know if the American people would be able to handle this kind of event and the ramifications of the loss in trust of the government. It doesn’t mean the truth shouldn’t be fully investigated though but I sincerely doubt it ever will be
Between these start dates, Miss Duham became pregnant with Obama on Nov. 1, 1960 while she was 17 years of age. Claims are that she married Obama Sr. on February 2, 1961. If this is correct and Obama Sr. was already married, it would constitute bigamy. Bigamy is outlawed in Hawaii, but legal in Kenya. Thus, chances are that Obama's mother had moved to Kenya residing there the months preceding Obama's 1961 birth.
Obama's own grandmother states that she was present when Obama was born in Kenya. Thus, he would not be a natural born citizen. Obama is reported to have been born August 4, 1961.
Now, how could Obama be born in Kenya or Hawaii and then have his mother enrolled at the University of Washington later that same month? Unlikely movement!
Is there any witnesses to Stanley Ann Dunham's location and movement in 1961 up through Obama's birth. Any medical clinic visits in the U.S. during her pregnancy? I have not heard of any which is a good indication that she was in Kenya.
Claims indicate that Obama was adopted and became Barry Soetoro in Indonesia. He would then have lost natural born citizenship if he even ever had it. He attended Occidental College as Barry Soetoro. Occidental College informed Newsweek that Obama enrolled as a foreign student (info at FreeRepublic).
By simply releasing his original long form birth certificate, Obama could prove whether he is a natural born citizen or not. By spending an enormous amount in legal fees to keep his birth certificate hidden, it leads one to think that he is NOT a natural born citizen.
If one has nothing to hide, one doesn’t hide things. This is proof enough.
I only wish that the BC issue and the Death Care bill would converge into an overwhelming perfect storm that would lead to a Constitutional crisis.

Lot of noise on this issue recently. Too bad it’s about a year too late.
Is this the explosion that labels all Birthers as racists?

Why not dispel the conspiracy theory once and for all so that we may not have any further dissension?

Obviously Obama is NOT a natural born citizen and should be arrested and removed from office.
I kept on ignoring this issue, but the more I look at it, the more I think there is something there. Even if the original records were somehow lost, where are the baby pictures, witness affidavits, etc. showing that he was born in HI? I never saw a birth certificate that didn’t show height, weight, time of birth, etc.
Most importantly, he could end this by releasing it.
Nope. If he ran illegally, he would be removed from office, and could face criminal charges.
But I suspect that Biden would pardon him.

I believe this is a “not proven”. April fools hoax is what I saw on FR. Occidental has released no records that I am aware of.
I didn't know it was that easy to change the Constitution.

Yes, regardless of where Obama was born, he is not a natural born citizen since his father was a Kenyan. Obama also lost natural born citizenship when he was adopted into Indonesia and became an Indonesian citizen.
This author really "understands the problem."
A dual citizen has to choose which citizenship he will claim when he comes of age.
Thus its important, I think, what passport he used to travel to Pakistan, and its important if he attended college claiming to be a foreign student.
He apparently didn’t have a US passport until he was in congress, which means he traveled as an Indonesian citizen. That, in my opinion, cinches that.
And if he claimed to be a foreign student when he attended college, that again cinches that. Someone who has dual citizenship as a child has to choose when he becomes an adult. Having chosen to be other than a US citizen, he can’t come back later and run for president as a natural-born citizen.
This is quite separate from the question of “where” he was born.
The fact that all records that would shed light are off-limits tells anyone paying attention that he has reason not to show them.
Because it amuses him to see his oposition wasting its time on a non-issue.
