WASHINGTON A newly unclassified Department of Homeland Security report warns against the possibility of violence by unnamed "right-wing extremists" concerned about illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion and the loss of U.S. sovereignty and singles out returning war veterans as particular threats. The report, titled "Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment," dated April 7, states that "threats from white supremacist and violent anti-government groups during 2009 have been largely rhetorical and have not indicated plans to carry out violent acts." However, the report goes on to suggest worsening economic woes, potential new legislative restrictions on firearms and "the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks."

Not yet...
Thanks for the ping Kimberly
Liberals are narrow minded bigots - the only people they have sympathy and understanding for are themselves. And yeah, "not yet" is probably right.
“well dang... I was so hoping it was the libs trying to get everyone stirred up with lies.”
Yes well, speaking of which, a bunch of libs are going through all of Craigslist and for every announcement about local Tea Party, are posting “Cancelled” or “Change of Venue” with phony information, like “cancelled due to threats by skinhead attendees”. Just being pain in the arses, I’m sure attendees will confirm with their organizers.
Swampland and Time Magazine. Just about sums it up.

...and so are ELF (Environmental Liberation Front) and ALF (Animal Liberation Front). Both left wing extremist groups carrying out terrorist attacks for years now.

The core of the Feb. 20, 2009 Missouri Report is the same as the Home Land Security Report just issued - both have an origin at the Southern Poverty Law Center.
