The whole blog-pimping thing kinda rubs me the wrong way, but that might just be me. Personally, I’ve never bookmarked or subscribed to a blog from anyone here, which is what I think alot of them are fishing for.
That said, it’s too bad there isn’t a way to turn some of these petty criticisms into FreepMails or some thing like personal comments or something.

Just the nature of an open thread. Sometimes it’s entertaining, sometimes it degenerates, and sometimes you have deliberate derailing.
What happens here is tame by comparison, to what once went on, on the AOL boards, back in their heyday, or others. At least it’s moderated, and the moderators are reasonably impartial.
