"All I need now is a cup of bad coffee."

I would join you in it but I am certain your cup isn't big enough.

But that would definitely make it "bad".

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it.

Good morning, everyone! It started raining here about 4:00 a.m.; DP had to get up and shut the windows downstairs. The late-night people in my house are as slovenly as the overnight-Undeaders used to be ... dishes all over, windows open, catz out, DVDs lying around ...

I’m doing better about leaving empty bottles lying around.

A fella could get hurt on one of those.

It’s hard to say which is worse, empty bottles or Lego. Triangle blocks are the most dangerous, though!

And you see what happened to Mr. Bierce.

I thought it was still a mystery! I’m a big fan of Ambrose Bierce. I think he was a much better writer than Mark Twain. You get drawn in by the elegant composition, and then sort of frozen by the despair; makes me think of Zombies, actually.

Good morning, Pippin! I need to go wash dishes again ...

I put in a vote for a well-chewed Nylabone.

Not only do they roll underfoot and throw you down, when they are thoroughly gnawed on they have thousands of little sharp nylon prickles standing out all over them. It's like stepping on a chestnut burr.

Lots of rumors, but most probably he was murdered by bandits or somebody in Pancho Villa's army (same difference) in 1914.

What they say about bad company is really true. And travel in Mexico has never really been safe.

I just googled Bierce's name to find out about him to see what you all were talking about.

Bierce sounds intrigueing.

And they don't know where when or how he died?

I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks!

I dunno. I never understood that only the choir sings in the Catholic church. I like to sing. My range is pretty limited, and high notes...well, if I sing them, I have to do so in falsetto, which I hate.
