I pick #2 but looking at this picture, the belt is sitting at Michelle mah Belle's waist. I think she's very high waisted (or is that she's very high and always wasted?? LOL)

I will continue poking fun at her, because she makes herself such an easy and visible target. If she wants to be a First Lady, she has to learn to look and act like a lady, first. I think the problem with the jacket isn’t the cut, it’s the sweater vest she has on under it. The sweater is causing the fabric of the jacket to bunch. She’s obviously as fabric impaired as she is fashion impaired.

Are we talking personally, or in general here? I avoid wearing anything with an empire waist, as it makes me look very young and way too skinny, but the look works wonders on my little sister.

In this specific case, the big problem (other than the obvious mismatching) is that a belt like that requires a long shirt that’s NOT a dress shirt or deep v-neck, and conversely, that outfit does NOT require a belt.
