And when he said we sometimes make mistakes, I'm sure he meant the Bush Administration. We all know that The One never makes mistakes.

This struck me as a direct swipe at President Bush and his policies. And that got me to thinking... taking shots during the campaign is one thing...but has there been a President in recent history that has continued to slam his predecessor so openly *after* the election as 0bama?

I honestly can’t think of one. I remember Ronald Reagan and both President Bushes as gracious and humble in victory. Even Clinton laid off rather quickly after the election, though I’m sure he took a shot or two when it benefited him.
