“We sometimes make mistakes. We have not been perfect.”

This struck me as a direct swipe at President Bush and his policies. And that got me to thinking... taking shots during the campaign is one thing...but has there been a President in recent history that has continued to slam his predecessor so openly *after* the election as 0bama?

I honestly can’t think of one. I remember Ronald Reagan and both President Bushes as gracious and humble in victory. Even Clinton laid off rather quickly after the election, though I’m sure he took a shot or two when it benefited him.

Just an observation.

That's because Obama is a classless phony who is drunk with his own power.

His inflated ego drives every decision or utterance he makes.

It’s going to be Bush-bashing on a regular basis and then the war crimes trials will start.

But aside from that, is there another president who has given his first TV interview to the official channel of Saudi Arabia? Maybe it’s their reward for 9/11. I think that tells us all where his loyalties lie.

“We sometimes make mistakes. We have not been perfect.”

A free press would immediately and relentlessly press the administration to identify what those mistakes were. This is absolutely their role in a free and open society.

Of course they won't. Instead they will continue to play the role as press office to the new administration.
