Good evening!
We're down to the last few days of the Bush Presidency. Who among us doesn't have some concern about our nation's security in the months ahead? And will those who criticized the President so constantly on this front not come to recognize the margin of safety he gave us?
Israel continues to destroy Hamas terrorist sites and agents in Gaza, sadly, much to the world's apparent dismay and loathing.
Flip!
The reports are that everybody, crew and passengers, got off the plane safely. The pilot is a hero.
Is it too late to change my tickets to a cruise ship?

Good evening, Jan. birth date sis.
Jem & Lysie. Glad you guys are on our side. Hate to meet you in a fight.
LBKQ, appears that everyone on the plane made it out OK, Praise God.
Sisters, sisters,
There were never such devoted sisters.
Me? I am a typical southern lady. White, too, as if that makes any difference.
Prayers.
Jem, you are a lady, but I don’t think anyone would call you typical!
Oh, and as far as you being white, don’t worry I won’t hold it against you. Ha!

We do try to be polite.
I miss him.
He was a sweetie!
Never had the pleasure of meeting him, but just practically everyone here is a sweetie.
You said it better than I did 2/3s. I told Roomey kudlow (I’ll hereafter not use a cap when writing his name) that he was all atwitter when telling of his meeeeting with thee one.
I miss him too. He was a trip, being the gentleman that he was.
I just heard the pilot had to circle and told the passengers to fasten their seat belts. Boy, don’t you know he, the co-pilot and 3rd officer were sweating bullets when they had to land in the water. I ask...why is it reported there were passengers flying around out of their seats and in the aisle? There was also a report that passengers had blood on their face and hands...seems strange to me. We used to tell the passengers to fasten their seat belts, bend forward with a pillow or just bend forward with their heads as close to knees as possible and hands behind their heads, in case of an emergency..yes, we had a couple and the passengers were great.
Typical, she ain’t, nice, she is.
I do not have any clue about that. I watched the flight path from take-off to ditching. They didn’t have enough time to take the seat belts off! They should ALL have been in their seats. I know I would be leaning forward with glasses in a clothes pocket and arms over head and neck.
FWIW, FOLKS, if you don’t know this, you need to: ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, if you are not moving through the cabin, KEEP YOUR SEATBELTS ON IN AN AIRPLANE. I’m not saying that the belts have to be tight, but KEEP THEM ON! You never know when the plane may hit an “air pocket” and drop several feet rather fast. You do not want your head slammed against the top of the cabin. That hurts and could damage the plane!
I haven’t heard any reports of injuries. Only that everyone made it off the plane alive. That captain and crew and the water rescuers are true heroes.
My nose is itching.
Or is it my ears?
