Amero to become USA’s new currency when dollar collapses

Pictures of the new currency that will supposedly replace the US dollar have appeared on the Russian Internet. The United States is reportedly working on the new currency, the amero, which will be common for the USA, Mexico and Canada. The unstable financial situation in the world, the collapsing oil prices and the growing foreign debt of the United States may eventually crush the US dollar as the world’s major currency. Needless to say that the US authorities reject the rumors and promise to keep the dollar afloat.

Amero notes have no portraits of US presidents on them and resemble the Belarusian rubles. For example, there is an image of a deer depicted on a 50-amero note, whereas a picture of a pyramid of Mexican Indians can be seen on a 100-amero note.

The amero follows the model of the European Union and its euro. It brings up the idea that the new currency can be adopted by the USA, Canada and Mexico within the scope of the North American Union, which the Bush administration established in

That urban legion has been floating around the Internet since before September 2007. You might consider checking with Snopes.com before posting such outlandish (and untrue) rumors.

This may indeed be tinfoil stuff, but there is an interesting video of CNN Lou Dobbs on youtube talking about the North American Union deal that was done behind our backs. I don't know what to make of it, and for some reason, I can't watch or enjoy videos any more because it takes too long to buffer them.

I checked my dsl connect speeds, and I'm getting at least 60 Mbps so it might be on their end. Shouldn't that be fast enough to watch videos without constant interruptions? It's every video site, not just youtube. Maybe it was the weekend; it's running ok with the video below this morning.

My connect speeds are weird today, guess I'll try to get rid of some things on my startup in msconfig. In the meantimg, the Lou Dobbs video is here, and the Amero is speculated upon:

Lou Dobbs: North American Union Orwellian Brave New World - youtube

There are some videos on youtube about the amero, too. I don't know what to make of it.

Some are going to really be shocked if this happens.

Nothing would surprise me anymore.

Happened in Europe.

For the amusement of all, here's something from the Yahoo! Goldman Sachs message board:
Now HERE'S a DOOMSDAY scenario

"Here’s how the collapse is being orchestrated; the U.S. federal government continues to run up annual deficits of almost half a trillion per year. They must borrow that money and pay interest on it."

"Two factors are now coming into play:

1) Funding the U.S. annual deficit now requires 80-90% of the savings of the entire planet, which is unsustainable."

"2) Interest on the now ten trillion national debt is wiping out what the federal government is taking-in via taxes."

"Very soon, the US national debt will become unserviceable because of one of the two items listed above. When the day comes that the US can no longer service its debt, the Treasury Secretary will declare a “force majeur;” a force they cannot control. . . . . preventing servicing of the debt."

"The declaration will be made on a weekday, around 12:38 PM, after the European and Asian markets have closed, and while much of the US east coast is at lunch to prevent them from panic dumping the dollars they hold."

"This declaration will be interpreted by the money guys as a defacto repudiation of our national debt."

"Within an hour, the US Stock market will begin massive collapse as people rush to liquidate assets and transfer them out of US dollars and out of the country. It will happen so fast that the average American will be totally blind-sided and not have a clue what to do."

"The following day, European and Asian markets will open, crash and close. Massive “runs” will begin upon US banks. The banks will be ordered CLOSED by the federal reserve."

"By the third day, US troops will be deployed around each of the federal reserve banks to protect the gold bullion stored in them from angry Americans who see by now they have lost everything."

"—————————— END OF SUNDAY UPDATED INFO"

"Those persons without gold, silver or foreign bank accounts denominated in foreign currencies, will be left instantly, totally, destitute; unless they accept the merging of the US with Canada and Mexico into something called the North American Union (NAU) and take the new AMERO currency for pennies on the dollar."

You all do know this is a hoax, right?
http://www.snopes.com/politics/business/amero.asp

It was made by a company that makes ‘parody’ currency.

Yup. Just like the Amero coins made by an outfit akin to the Franklin Mint.

Look folks, we’ve lost our country. Both the Republicans and Democrats have taken us down the cr*p hole. They have trashed the constitution and created an ultra confusing financial mess that may very well lead to the Amero that has been dicsussed for years. We have come a long way from protecting our borders and regulating money. The government seems to have thrown out these two concepts. We now have a Kenyan Muslim taking the reigns that is going to re-shape our Constitional Republic forever.

Yes, to eventually be replaced with worldwide currency to prevent world economic collapse as the chicken littles are proclaiming.

Then we’ll all have to have a tatoo on our forehead to prove we are members of the world. As opposed to say, Jupiter.

A vastly more likely scenario is for the government and Federal Reserve to print (or electronically create) hundreds of billions or trillions of new dollars to flood the money supply. Once people realize the large amount of new cash in the system they will start increasing prices at a faster and faster rate. The old $10 trillion debt will seem like small change after a bout of hyperinflation.

But the government would never just create that much money out of nothing and start passing it around, right? < /sarc>

Did you know that FEMA and the Treasury is planning for some unique events in the West? They've even started planning the currency.

Cool, it’s got a full color deer on it. We should print trillions of them and outsource some more jobs. That will fix the economy for sure.
