I have to say how much I enjoy seeing the beautiful stadiums! Seriously - some are just incredibly huge - some are in a beautiful setting, and some are just loved by the students and fans.

And some will be going through construction beginning in January to expand and beautify!

I’m with you Steve - we watch every bowl game we can. Not everyone can win the championship or get a BCS Bowl game - but it is a honor for the school to be asked to play in any bowl game. I’m tired of the elitist snobs who think they are due a certain bowl game and all others are puny.

Saw it this morning and stopped reading when I saw that they had projected KSU for a bowl. Are they not paying attention? The only bowl KSU is going this holiday season is the toilet and the candy bowl.

I fancy myself as an amateur photographer and that's one reason why I like going to college football games in person. It's a rather lame excuse for me to travel, but I enjoy doing it.

Check out this photo I caught before the Utah/Oregon State game last season. Even though I had a crummy disposable camera, I like finding shots like this.

And our students are already helping with the de-construction.......

I think Vandy should be the Vols. That would be fair.

That’s a damn good looking pic for that kind of camera.

As far as Ohio State projected to go to a BCS game, GREAT!!! But we’re tired of losing to SEC TEAMS. if the powers that be are FReerers. please schedule a Big 12 team to face Ohio State. That way, if we lose, at least it’s against another conference.

Pitt/FSU in the Orange Bowl? That’d surprise the shiite out of me!

Man, I already have tix and hotel for the Meineke Car Care bowl, and they’re predicting GT and Cincinatti. I hope the match-up ends up better than that.

Are you talking about the benches? lol The kids jump up and down and they break from the weight - so they hand them over the top of everyone to get them out of the area so no one falls over them or gets cut. I thought they were pulling them up but my daughter said they break!

I think K-State has played in a toilet bowl in their long and illustrious football history. :)

From what I’ve been able to see from the Buckeyes this season, they put it together once Wells got healthy and once Pryor settled in at QB they were fine. My flimsy crystal ball tells me they should be back in the thick of things next year and possibly in ‘10.

Not sure what the remainder of the Buckeye faithful think here but that’s what I gathered based on what my really superficial analysis tells me.

I think you have it right. But after those last 2 jokes of ‘championship’ games, they won’t be going back for a while.

"Can I ask why on earth we aren’t in the above BCS bowl predictions?"

'Cause we don't get no respect? ; )

I believe that'll be changing here on or about January 8, 2009. We're only #2 in the "subjective" polls -- the human polls. Those guys just can't believe it. But based on the unemotional facts, as in the computer poll, we're #1, baby! That's as it should be, and as it will be after we beat OU. WRECK 'EM, TECH!!!

"Texas Tech 48 - OU 41."

I don't think it's going to be that close. I'm looking for a game more in line with the Tech OSU game. At least OSU had a defense running on all cylinders.

I wish the Big Ten and Pac 10 had conference championships.

They do. It's called the Rose Bowl. It's as good a game as the SEC playoff or the Big 12 playoff.

"They do. It's called the Rose Bowl. It's as good a game as the SEC playoff or the Big 12 playoff."

No argument. Just take the Rose Bowl out of the BCS and make it a qualifier to get a chance at the title game. I don't think you'll get the money folks to agree though. :( USC vs Penn State would be a blowout on par with the blowouts of Florida over Alabama or Texas/OU/Tech over Missouri.

I just discovered the teams in the Pac 10 now play each other once in the regular season - I don't think it used to be that way. The Big Ten still doesn't - if Penn State and Minnesota had both gone undefeated (and don't play each other), how would they determine who the conference champion was?
