Rasmussen Defends Barack Obama's tax program on "Hannity and Colmes" this evening.
Hannity and Colmes TV Program | October 20, 2008 | Vanity

Posted on 10/20/2008 6:42:48 PM PDT by Prole

Anyone who is watching "Hannity and Colmes" this evening should find it strange that Scott Rasmussen is explaining and even openly defending the tax policies of Barack Hussein Obama.

In particular, I noticed that Sean was telling Rasmussen that "businesses don't pay increased taxes, they pass that onto the consumer with increased prices."

What the heck was Scott Rasmussen doing by explaining and even DEFENDING the tax proposals of Barack Obama?

Isn't Rasmussen supposed to be an objective pollster?

It’s been obvious that Ras is an advocate for Obama.

I may tape it too. I’d like to hear it, since we typically have put a lot of value in his polls in the past.

I believe you.

I believe all of you.

I just cannot believe that I am expected to believe anything from the mainstream media anymore.

Even magazines like "Men's Health" are pro-Obama.

Save a few Conservatives like Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, John Gibson and others, I don't believe anything I hear on the TV anymore.

It's all corrupted for Obama.

Greta is on now, then Ted Baxter.

Sean will be on in 2 hours, and I am going to stay up for the re-airing of the show.

It's revelations like tonight's interview that truly do make me feel like some sort of Underground Resistance Fighter.

Seriously.

Our Nation's media has been completely taken over by a bunch of communists, and I feel like the "secret transmissions" of Talk Radio and "secret correspondence" of Free Republic are the only way I can get fair and honest information about what's going on out there.

FNC is alright, but I don't like Ted O'Baxter, Shepard Smith, Juan Williams and many of the other pro-Obama people on the network.

Obama 37 Hillary 30 New Hampshire.

Results Clinton 39 Obama 36.5 is that is day of the vote in just one state.

McCain is losing the tax cut argument... won’t even explain to people that when the Bush tax cuts expire, that’s a tax increase for 100 percent of Americans.

I saw the segment. Rass was only saying that BO is winning the tax cut argument.
That spells disaster for a Republican.

For all of his heroism and many attributes, McCain stinks as a communicator.

McCain also ruined his own sound bite tonight in response to today’s gift from Biden. Absolutely threw it away.

I still maintain that Scott is a professional pollster. Obviously he favors Obama but I see no evidence that he allows his bias towards Obama to affect his credibility or integrity. I may sound naive but Scott’s results have been pretty consistent over the last 3 weeks and not skewed as the ABC and CBS polls have tended to be as they still strain to push the ‘inevitability’ of Obamas.

He likes a cousin to Chris Mathews...that was my first clue.

Look at the guy who runs Gallup. He looks like he is from Vermont.

These guys are totally in the tank for Obama.

IBD is probably McCain bound but at least they have the accuracy track record.

We conservatives have been complaining about liberal media bias for years now. But with Obama’s campaign, it’s like a mild upset stomach that has been bothering you for awhile intensifying and turning into that feeling you get just before you’re about to puke.

I am so angry at members of my immediate family. I’m not angry that they’re Democrats. I expected the Democrats to win this election. I’m angry because they think that when I rant and rave about media bias that I come off as some sort of fanatic. Their attitude is “yeah, there’s a LITTLE media bias, but it’s not that significant”.

They have been brainwashed into believing that the only dangerous political extremists are right wing extremists. If McCain had close associations with an abortion clinic bomber and someone who openly said that all homosexuals should be exiled to a secluded island, the media would go nuts, and McCain would be finished. These members of my immediate family would nod in agreement. But when it comes to William Ayers and Jeremiah Wright it’s a totally different story. These members of my immediate family don’t condone the words or actions of Ayers and Wright, but they just don’t think it’s that big of a deal.

This is what drives me nuts. They are acting like brain dead zombies and they refuse to see it. They are thinking exactly what the media wants them to think, and they don’t see it. They see themselves as calm and rational, and see me as the nut.

I can’t believe what is happening to this country. Within 50 years we went from blowing up Black churches in Alabama to worshipping a complete fraud like Obama simply because he’s Black. What happened to the middle ground? Where did it go?

Hmmmmm, now I’m getting suspicious that the poll numbers that Rasmussen gives out aren’t as good as they should be, if you know what I mean.

What ALL the Obama defenders fail to mention that all the tax breaks that Obama is offering, or should I say, tax hand outs, will be more than off set by the carbon tax that Obama plans to implement. The carbon tax will not only cost the homeowner, it will kill the economy and cost jobs, which he plans to replace with "green jobs", which are nothing but bureaucratic jobs and make work projects.

Obama's Carbon Ultimatum

Anyone who reads this article and still votes for Obama is dangerous.

I am telling ya.

Stay up, and watch the re-airing of the show.

I see Hannity and Rasmussen openly arguing about Obama's tax proposals with Sean on the side of Americans and Scott on the side of Obama.

It's not the job of a pollster to explain or defend a candidate's policies/programs/ideas.

In so doing, Rasmussen reveals his bias toward Obama.

I AGREE, and wish I could watch, but I don’t have cable.

But I’m glad my FRiends are keeping me up to date.
